Jamie I (kr) wrote: I think a major theme of Little Children is that present unhappiness shouldn't affect future happiness. And just because people are unhappy now doesn't mean they can't be happy later. Is that redundant? Repetitive? The thing I found most interesting was the narration by Will Lyman (he does a lot of narration). It made it feel like you were reading a book but it was so sporadic. You never knew quite when it would pop up again and there were times when I found myself wondering "where's that narrator?" Patrick Wilson is very nice to look at for over two hours especially when he gets all naked. The final scene of this film is burned into my memory. But in the end I would recommend this movie.

Danny M (us) wrote: Great film. I've always loved it. The only flaw is that the pacing is a bit weird and it is quite slow

Michael C (fr) wrote: Damn this movie is funny and with a huge heart. This is a great rom- com for guys and gals....

Tatsuhito K (ru) wrote: It's not awful and there are things far worse than this featherweight, bland comedy, but man, what were you thinking, Mr. Hanks?!?! It's a lighthearted film and both Hanks and Roberts are damn likable, but I just didn't see the point of why this film had to be made. Stories like this have been told many times, so why make another conventional comedy? Larry Crowne is immensely forgettable and so damn flimsy. Not awful, but not good either.

Nick P (mx) wrote: Utterly preposterous, and if you're in the right mood, very funny. Rupert Murdoch's less evil English counterpart starts a global military apocalypse to give his news shows better ratings. It's a glorious '90s throwback, in which newspapers actually have power, British and Russian generals briefly stand shoulder-to-shoulder, the TVs are monolithic blurry boxes and the mobile phones are just starting to become non-gigantic. The body count is GARGANTUAN (which nobody cares about), poor henchmen and even innocent bystanders are punched/kicked in the face just for the sake of it, and the #2 baddie is a Nazi posterboy literally named (I'm not joking) Mr Stamper. It's incredibly silly. It's incredibly fun. It's also a big improvement on Goldeneye (in my opinion at least), with Bond able to communicate beyond one-liners, more memorable action sequences, steamier 'romance', more of a point to the plot, and a much better sense of humour.Jonathan Pryce is maybe not the absolute most menacing baddie ever to grace the series, but he says "Mr Bond" better than anyone in quite a few decades. Other than that, the only real flaw as far as I'm concerned is that it's a bit long, so as often happens with Brosnan-era Bonds, you get some action fatigue towards the end. This is mitigated if you're a sadist like me who gets a kick out of seeing numerous terrible things happen to henchmen, however.

Nicola D (us) wrote: I was a little skeptic at the beginning, but at the end I found the movie quite interesting and worth watching it, just once, tho. Daniel Craig looks fitted enough in his washed-up actor role, but the most impressing performance to me was Eden's young Joe, who was able to keep the plot swirling around him. Not such an excellent work of art, even though the ending can be a little masterpiece.
