Simon L (us) wrote: GOOD GOD! THIS CRAP IS EVEN WORSE THEN FRED 2 AND 1! Alright, My burst of rage is over. But man did they screw this up, The plot is c&p from Daddy Day Camp, The kid shows up at a craptastic summer camp and he has to team up with other camp-goers to defeat a much better camp. The fact that it starts off with a musical kills it. Then there is ANOTHER musical at the end! Don't even think about this movie.
Avi A (de) wrote: excellent movie; the acting was superb and the topic matter unique.
Carl C (au) wrote: I thought I had been transported back in time to crap 80??s action movie land. It has all the feel of an 80??s original and brings nothing of the action or special effects we expect from 2009 action movies. This should go straight to the DVD discount bucket and by pass the cinema completely.

Just a fantastic story that follows the family of a Master Chef who has lost his sense of taste while he also tries to navigate the trials and tribulations in the lives of his 3 adult daughters who live with him. There's drama, humour, and of course so fantastic cooking. This film gets my highest recommendation!- Such a great film, easily one of my all-time faves. This is a MUST watch if you've never seen it!- Such a fantastic film I hadn't seen in years. A great film dealing with food, love and family. A must in my opinion!
Alexis G (jp) wrote: I liked this film way more than I thought I would, just the idea was so new to me, I am a big fan of Culkin and he made this movie stand out and worth while. Though the plot progresses slowly and I wish more could have happened to develop a better relationship between father and son, I enjoyed every second of this movie :)
Daniel V (es) wrote: Man, I forgot how entertaining this movie was. Scott Glenn and Kevin Kline are perfect as co-leaders of this rag tag band of boys that also includes Kevin Costner as the charming trouble making younger brother and Danny Glover as one of the best shots with rifle the Hollywood West has ever seen. The story is a straight forward western bad guys taking what they don't deserve, good guys being outnumbered but badass enough to stop them. Oh and did I mention it's directed by Lawrence "Star Wars" Kasdan? So if you are a fan of westerns or any of those 4 actors or the talent of Kasdan's storytelling(I happens to fan of all of it), then you will dig this because it is shows all these elements at their finest.

Barney o (kr) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: There's no doubt a hat must be tipped to James Cameron for delivering something as original yet wholely well-realised as this. Yes 'Avatar's' incredible world-building (aided by ground-breaking visual effects) and in-depth characters bring its experience to life extremelly well, and the result is a place that feels so real, yet so fantastic at the same time. Thankfully it doesn't loose its intent either, as it's able to delve into some interesting ideas, and keep a visual gasp waiting round every corner.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: It feels very long indeed; too long in fact, and that's mostly because the story loses a lot of drive once it gets in deep.VERDICT: An impressively fleshed out - if dragged out - piece of film making from a guy who most definitely knows what he's doing.
