Pascal T (br) wrote: The movie captured Bundy's essential character traits - his vanity, his shame of illegitimacy, and his anger towards women. The overview of his 'killing time' is relatively loyal to real life events but so much has been cut out that the movie is only the tip of the iceberg. However, the movie failed to capture how much of a sadist this guy was. The mood was all wrong, and his thing was about 'owning women' which didn't come out as strong as it should have. Could have been much better...

Bearded M (br) wrote: This is one of the best comedies of the 90's and is one of my favorite John Cusack roles. Martin Blank is cool, funny and completely badass. I liked this movie cause it was pretty original, was filmed well, the acting was good all the way around, and how can you not like a movie where Dan Aykroyd is an evil hit man. Add to that Jeremy Piven, Joan Cusack and Minnie Driver, well, it is just plain great. Add to that the totally rocking soundtrack and fun action set pieces and you got yourself a good time. I have yet to go to a real high-school reunion myself, but if I do I am going to tell people that I am a hit man, and no, that doesn't come with dental. Awesome.4 Beards Out Of 5

Robert B (jp) wrote: F for Fake is both an entertaining and serious look at art without being pretentious or cynical. Orson Welles is great as the host, the cast is colorful, and the editing is superb.

Josh E (us) wrote: Loses steam and almost never displays much tension. Glover's performance, however, is more than enough to keep the audience watching until the final credits. The narrative structure is a bit of a mess and some of the character arcs make little sense, that being said, this tale of the duality of one man's soul manifest in two very different rats is definitely worth watching several times.

Petros T (jp) wrote: A far from spectacular but comfortably above-par biopic: never really fascinating and with emotional stakes not particularly high, but it will keep you guessing as to what will eventually happen right until the end. It is boosted considerably by a very good Johnny Depp, aided by Ray Liotta. On the other hand, Penelope Cruz and Rachel Griffiths are annoying to death. The final scene was handled in a wonderful manner, prioritizing not melodrama but words and images that speak to the heart.

Grant S (ca) wrote: Interesting, gripping, gritty crime-drama. Has a few minor detours which seem unnecessary, and it is not entirely coherent, but it is very intriguing and the pace doesn't slack off for a moment.Decent performances from Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jessica Chastain. Chloe Moretz was a bit irritating though.
