Ben L (fr) wrote: You have to watch the show, that is an absolute must to enjoy this movie. In fact it might help if, like me, you have seen most of the episodes several times. This is an movie for the fans if ever there was one. In fact it could almost be considered an extra-long episode of the show, because these kind of in-jokes and references to past episodes are commonplace. The story is typical for Phineas & Ferb, which I feel is a big positive. The last thing I'd want them doing is making radical changes to the already fabulous characters. But they do add some fun twists and turns, since they have more time to work with. I will say that some of the emotions seem a little odd, particularly Phineas' reaction to learning Perry is a secret agent. Plus the movie felt just a tad rushed. They finally had an hour and a half to work with, yet it felt like they were trying to fit it all into fifteen minutes like a normal adventure.Seeing the alternate reality versions of the characters was funny. It opened up a lot of humorous situations when the 2 versions of the characters hung out with one another. There are a lot of silly references to pop culture things, which is typical for the show, but there are even more references to episodes of the show. Without a doubt your interest in this movie will directly relate to your interest in the show. I love the show so I liked the movie, but if you've never seen the show the movie wouldn't even make sense to you.

I re-assessed it after learning of the cast's dissatisfaction with the changes made afterwards, especially the ending. I agree I was expecting a different ending and the original ending was necessary to make the parable complete.

Doug M (it) wrote: this is a dirty, ultraviolent French crime thriller with some exceptionally over the top moments, and deliberately so. it's also just as entertaining as that sounds. to the uninitiated, one could describe it as a seriously effed up version of Heat (the Michael Mann film, not the gossip mag). this is a classic film and well worth seeing, though probably not if you're easily offended by violent cinema.
Jason M (br) wrote: Excellent movie...Just be prepared because it's pretty slow, drags on a bit, and becomes predictable....Modern remake of the classic. The concept stays true to the main story. Acting and directing are pretty good. No graphic or scary parts in this movie as it is a psychological thriller. Probably could have used some more blood and gore, but it's still good. You don't really see the transformation between the two, all you see is either the beginning or the withdrawal...The last 30 minutes of the movie are very predictable, especially the very typical ending...Good to rent on for 2 bucks or so...

Don S (fr) wrote: I've now seen both the original and this American remake, The original seems to tell the story better. There is nothing wrong with this one - same great story, pretty good acting - It's just Rapace nailed Salander and Mara only came close. Both versions are worth the time to watch.
Chris B (it) wrote: I didn't know they could make a film that bad. There is nothing worse than watching a film that slowly moves towards a epic conclusion. That................your watching something that is waste of money, waste of electricity, waste of time, & a waste of a review. however you really just got to let it out.
John Eric D (fr) wrote: As much as I wanna see Jason Mamoa and this guy from X-Men. I knew it would be like a straight-to-DVD film which means a B-grade flick. Actually starts pretty cool as you will be into the story for the out most yet through the second half it just reminded me of some episodes from any sci-fi tv shows. Not bad for the whole cast still a watchable B-grade reminds you of a late night film from the 80's. 2.5 out of 5.
James R (fr) wrote: This may be one of the best 80s movies you've never seen! In the first 5 minutes, I was really puzzled how the movie would develop going from a gangster fight in LA to a graveyard in Paris. WTF? I can't tell if the movie is supposed to be serious or not, but it is pretty hilarious. WTF did that corpse come from??!
