Peter A (nl) wrote: The plot of Dead Space Aftermath takes place after the events of the first Dead Space video game, a marine ship responding to a distress call from the from the USG O'Bannon finds four survivors among the bodies of the crew. Now the four survivors get interrogated and we get to see exactly what happened aboard the O'Bannon prior to the marines' arrival from their perspectives. Each perspective has a different animation style. So you're basically getting four shitty movies for the price of one! Well, to start off the animation that isn't part of the flashbacks look like shit, while the idea sounds good on paper it's just poorly executed here. The characters look like a clay project gone horribly wrong. Speaking of characters, these people are so bland, and have so little f***ing personality and their dialouge makes them all look like assholes so you feel nothing when you see them get torn to pieces in horrible, gruesome ways. The story has a bajillion plot holes and even manages to contradict the games at certain points, which is unforgivable! To top this crap pile off, not only is it not scary in the slightest bit but you hardly get to see any monsters. As someone who liked the previous Dead Space animated movie, Dead Space: Downfall, I can safetly say that Dead Space Aftermath is.. well... a steaming pile of CRAP.

Carrie T (ru) wrote: The Little Mermaid 2 may be inbetween the direct-to-dvd sequels from Disney, it's not terrible, but it doesn't have enough charm to go through almost the same plot as the original.

Joshua C (ag) wrote: Yes, its similar to the Truman Show, but it brings it's own little thing to the table. Matthew and Woody are a great pair, as well as Ellen and such. It provides the drama we'd expect, and it brings the look at stardom. It is a good movie, but originality doesn't fit in, and not just because its exactly like the Truman Show, its drama and plot I mean by those terms.

David L (us) wrote: Persona is an admirable, yet troublesome experiment. The dialogue is good, the directing is excellent and the film is thematically rich with some very fascinating themes. It is also a technically amazing work filled with some great shots, many intriguing and authentic filmmaking decisions and a great imagery. But it is also too difficult to follow at times, it is sometimes artistic just for the sake of being artistic and some choices in its third act are very annoying. It is a solid film that I most certainly admire, but I found it pretty disappointing nevertheless.

Justin O (ag) wrote: Jet Li's first real American-made blockbuster, it had a nice blend of action, comedy, and gangster to make this film a cult classic.

Alex M (nl) wrote: Just like the game show and kept you on suspense while telling a story that feels so real
