Matthew C (ca) wrote: A truly amazing film... 4 totally random strangers living in a hotel in Bangkok. All connected by 1 boy Wit a local boy who works there doing errands but also helping himself to whats left around. Rosa has an amazing bit of duologue about 3/4 of the way thru... a thoroughly decent film throughout although a sad ending.

Corinne M (gb) wrote: It was the best film ever as it quite sad but fun as well

Mat K (nl) wrote: In the 1920s nobody made movies like the Germans. The story idea, based on a Jewish Legend and a precursor to Frankenstein, is good. However it is the visuals, both the sets and the effects, that make this movie cool. And yes, I can see in the 1920s this would scare the crap out of its audience.

Wes S (jp) wrote: It has some interesting points, but it's a bit slow and the effects aren't that great. The film mention how all the snakes are real, but a few of them looked fake in some scenes, even for only a moment. The editing is pretty mediocre, and it's hilarious how hard they try to cover nudity up with unnatural leaves and lamps. The only redeeming value is the actual snake footage, leaving this a pretty dangerous film to make. So bad it's actually kind of good.

Joshua S (mx) wrote: Starting at the end and working back to the beginning, the audience experiences their own form of short-term memory loss with each scene revealing what Leonard has already forgotten. A backwards journey into the unknown of Lenny's "condition".
