Ryan F (ca) wrote: Jake Gyllenhaal gives a strong performance as the creepy, psychopathic monster, Lou Bloom. Bloom takes a liking to freelance crime journalism and becomes very disturbing and menacing in the process. Definitely on of Jake Gyllenhaal's best performances. Rene Russo was also strong in her performance.

Mark P (au) wrote: Doesn't deserve any stars, this film was appalling, people who can't act or sing.

David S (gb) wrote: What a huge letdown after the amazing rifftrax live from a few months back on Reefer Madness. The House on Haunted Hill one was far inferior to that predecessor. It still had lots of laughs (chuckles actually, instead of the belly laughs from Reefer), but it often dulled and put one to sleep. Both the shorts and the feature film were incredibly weak when compared with the Madness installment.

Kevork O (es) wrote: Yes, it's about the Caucasus. And it is truly, nauseatingly bad.

Heather M (gb) wrote: I am going to pass on this one.

Jeffrey G (es) wrote: Yes, it(TM)s shot in black ~n white. Yes, it(TM)s got an indie look and feel with some quirky dialogue by a bunch of fringe characters. At the end of the day, this is cute for the sake of being cute in a self-indulgent, self-congratulatory manner that just turns me off. Not a disaster but really not worth all the hype either.

Jeff N (au) wrote: Just one of the absolute most moving movies I've ever seen. The little girl in the movie reminds me of the ministry of Christ. How's that for an grabber?

John B (us) wrote: So we have lots of build up and no conclusion. Lynch who is a great documentary producer lets his subject off the hook. Doesn't the idea of developing a suit to ward off grizzlies require testing against actual grizzlies? A film that leaves you hanging.

Marco A (fr) wrote: bold performances....worth a watch...

Corey J (es) wrote: Don't really have anything bad to say about this one:-)

Alex D (kr) wrote: Christopher Lloyd elevates Trek III with a surprisingly good and beyond evil performance. Kirk risks everything on the hope that Spock can be saved. And loses it all. Very underrated movie. Shatner's best performance. Ever.

Simon W (nl) wrote: It is only the performance of the charismatic George Hamilton that makes this watchable. Even the actual footage of Knievel is too poor to be of any substantial merit. The portrayal of Knievel's criminal activities and antisocial behaviour as boyish whimsy is a bit hard to swallow, and the score/music is nothing short of excruciating. But it does have its moments.
