Jeff S (it) wrote: Had a Blair Witch vibe at times, but mostly it was just goofy. Not sure if this was supposed to be a thriller, a comedy, a portrait, or some combination of all three, but whatever it was, it wasn't good. Also, that ending was LAME. So, just, dumb. This film had some potential, but just couldn't figure itself out.

Kim M (gb) wrote: Seeing two of my favourite actors from Galaxy Quest in this movie was a real pleasure, but Snow Cake is just a superb movie in it's own right. A wonderfully heartwarming story about relationships, grief and acceptance.Along with Temple Grandin, Snow Cake goes a long way in helping to understand Autism and no better actors could have been chosen for this film than Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman.

The Critic (de) wrote: Breakdancing was one of the big trends in the '80s and this doesn't offer any into insight as to why it was so. With Christopher McDonald being the only decent actor in the cast, the performances from the rest are appalling. The dancing itself is fine, but only a small percentage of the routines displayed here are good enough to generate any sort of excitement. A disappointing venture that will only appeal to those who like to go a little breakin'. Followed by 'Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo' in 1984.

Monty P (nl) wrote: Chevy Chase stars as a private eye, who is murdered. Chase's character, Benjamin Browning is then given the chance to return to earth to solve his own murder. But he can only return as a dog. Benji - I'm sure you all know about Benji, he stars as Benjamin Browning in dog form.Browning gets help from a beautiful writer(Jane Seymour) who is writing a book on the case. Although she doesn't know she is actually helping him, she goes along with it, in the end helping him more ways then one.I recommend this movie if you want not only a bit of a laugh but some suspense.

Richard V (br) wrote: I took my 3 year old son, a fan of Postman Pat. We left early with my son in tears! If you have a target audience of 3ish year olds, why on earth would you produce a movie that not only mangles their favourite character but involves concepts that will go right over their heads. If you then throw in evil robots that can reduce a 3 year old to floods of tears you not only have the perfect recipe for a flop, you're also lining yourself up to be sued by the parents of children with recurrent nightmares.

Jenn M (br) wrote: Not the worst "scary" movie but certainly not the best or anywhere close. i was surprised since Kevin Bacon has the capacity to do more suspenseful roles (except Hollow Man but thats another review) like Stir of Echoes which was seriously underrated. This was every horror movie cliche right down to the older spanish Catholic doing a quick but successful exorcism. who knew that that all they had to do go stop the evil was put the rocks back on the table and 2 and a half minutes of prayers in spanish
