Max H (es) wrote: This movie made me issue my own fatwa against Lance Henriksen. If I ever see him, I'll cut him in half so that the milk that runs through his veins will cover the masses who adore him.I watched this movie and really tried to restrain myself from spewing profanity for the entire 90 min. Alas, I failed. I felt violated having seen this. This WAS the worst movie I had ever seen until I saw "Alien vs. Hunter". You're still on my shit list, Henriksen.

Kit X (ag) wrote: Although not without merit, I was disappointed by several aspects of this film,I didn't like some of the heavy editing choices - misplaced and unsympathetic. In particular the use of montage near the end, Also, it offered insufficient opportunity for justifying the motives of Black September - as though nobody wants to hear the answer to the question, why did you do it?

Roy N (gb) wrote: This movie has been beat up on Rotten Tomatoes, but having lived in East Asia, I enjoyed watching this movie and appreciating Jack's (Tom Selleck) struggles. It was fun to see things from a different perspective. Baseball movies are kind of stale, so this is a refreshing movie relatively.

Ben L (es) wrote: This was the last true Clouseau movie, and sadly the idea was a little played out at this point. There are some funny scenes, and you can always count on Sellers to take the role over-the-top as much as possible. There are some great moments of Clouseau in ridiculous costumes which is always a winner. Plus the mistaken identity thing is downright hilarious. Perhaps the biggest downside to this edition is the considerably reduced role of Dreyfus. While he is present in the film, his role is cut down considerably. Clouseau running from the mob isn't as compelling as when he runs from someone he's convinced is his friend. Although it does make for a good climax as he runs from both. There also is a surprisingly small amount of big physical gags. The slapstick physical comedy of the series seems to take a backseat to the general gag of Clouseau inexplicably surviving assassination attempts. I don't know what all it is, but there's just something missing in this edition of the Pink Panther. While Revenge of the Pink Panther is still fun, it doesn't really match the first 3 movies in the series, and ends up feeling like they made one too many trips to the well.

Kim E (ag) wrote: Gotta love the dynamics between Terence Hill and Bud Spencer... although it's virtually the same in all of their movies, but then again, if works, right?
