Night of the Living Dead

Night of the Living Dead

A group of people try to survive an attack of bloodthirsty zombies while trapped in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse. Although not the first zombie film, Night of the Living Dead is the progenitor of the contemporary "zombie apocalypse" horror film, and it greatly influenced the modern pop-culture zombie archetype.

Paul D (br) wrote: Despite some very well-known actors this homage to a far superior film comes across very poorly. You can forgive the terrible story for comedy purposes, except the comedy is missing and direction childish in places.

Robert H (kr) wrote: STRANGE CIRCUS is an engaging, enthralling, weird, trippy mindf**k of a movie, but is slightly undone by last minute attempts to one-up itself in terms of how confusing it can be. Still, there's a lot great visuals and a superb classical music soundtrack which complement the images very nicely. Definitely for fans of weird/out-there Japanese cinema.

Sean W (es) wrote: Not the documentary I was expecting, it was much better. This film contains an unbelievable level of fact and detail. Truly a must see doc!

Ralph R (ca) wrote: Racist jokes are only funny if they are performed by someone not of the race.

Cade H (au) wrote: Moving McAllister was a fun and quirky movie that most people will not get the pleasure of seeing. The one thing that made this movie what it was is Mila Kunis. She stole the show and played a lovable, spunky girl who not only the lead character falls in love with but also the viewer. I can not get over how fun she was to watch on screen and how it makes me hope I can find a girl like her someday. The lead character was only so so, he was kind of annoying at times frankly and Jon Heder played a funny part that mixed up the film a bit. I do not understand how this movie got such bad reviews because it was fun to watch and I am starting to realize that every movie with Mile Kunis in a lead role is a must see.

Dimitri T (ru) wrote: A lot of the dialogue is poor, but, Some of the english voiceovers are really over the top that it's campy. It's nice to see camp value, and action. Great entertainment.

Rick R (mx) wrote: Hell to Eternity (1960)I know, a Memorial Day full of war movies. Maybe I've seen far too many of them in my life. It was kind of refreshing to see this movie starring child actor, Richard Eyer, as young Guy Gabaldon, an orphaned child who gets adopted by a Japanese American family and later, as grown up Jeffrey Hunter, becomes a Marine who can speak Japanese. It covers a lot of the hazards of Nisei families during the second world war; being sent to concentration camps while many young Japanese American men joined the Army and fought in Europe.Since Guy can speak Japanese and is aware of Japanese culture he's perfect to talk the Japanese soldiers and civilians to surrender safely, and is nicknamed the pied piper of Saipan.Veteran silent actor Sessue Hayakawa plays the Japanese General Matsui who is trying to talk his men into doing a suicide Banzai charge.
