After a series of misunderstandings with Diaghilev, who is both his domineering mentor and possessive lover, Nijinsky succumbs to Romola's charms and marries her, after which his gradual decline from artistic moodiness to complete lunacy begins.

Set in the early 1910s at a time of passionate artistic experimentalism, and based on biographical fact, this is the story of Vaslav Nijinsky, the young and brilliant but headstrong premier... . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Thanasis M (ca) wrote: A hugely enjoyable and fun-to-watch flick. But don't take it seriously. Just sit on your bed and enjoy this funny sc-fi diamond. A good Gamera film. I know most of the critics don't like it very much but this is my opinion. I liked the movie.

Jon C (ag) wrote: powerfully directed by John Singletona great cast from Ice Cube to Cuba Good Jr., to Laurence Fishburne to Angela Bassett to Morris Chestnut to Nia Longshows enough drama and realism of what life is actually like for residents in the hoodit's not easy, it's a neighborhood filled with people who just want to be happy, raise families, and make a livingIce Cube says it on point that either nobody knows, shows or actually sees what goes on in a troubled part of the world such as thiswhether its drugs, guns etc. these issues don't just stay in one area, they spread to other parts as wellany man can make children but it takes a real man to raise a child, who really dies on the streets, what does cause a group of people to constantly kill each other?this movie shows we have to keep increasing the peace amongst ourselves

Tom T (mx) wrote: Mediocre, lukewarm film with nothing special except a number of historical inaccuracies. During World War One Turkey allied with Germany while Australia along with Greece were part of the Allies. Crowe presents the Turks as good and their allies the Greeks as bad. It is like an American makes a film about WW2 which glorifies the Nazzis and presents their allies the English as bad!!! Very weird screenplay idea, especially since at the opening the film states that it is based on true events. If you want to claim that a film is based on true events then it must be at least historically believable or convincing, to a certain point historically correct. This film turns history upside down. I did not like this film, it has no depth, the 3 lost sons are presented very little, the viewer does not get to know them so he /she does not care about them. This film has nothing special, it did not move me at all and if Russell Crowe was not starring in it, I believe it would a completely unknown film and a failure.
