Sarah K (es) wrote: This movie is quite touching at times and has great animation, but the schoolgirl story was quite tiresome and boring. I still enjoyed this movie.

Shaday A (au) wrote: It's not bad, but it shouldn't be a sequel, because it's just too different to do a proper follow-up. Probably a story broken out of the series and developed by itself independently would've come out better.

NaNa N (au) wrote: Brilliant plot and all songs beautiful. it been a while since I've seen it though certainly one of my favorite films (:

bill s (mx) wrote: A beautiful bittersweet mob movie, wonderfully acted as well as textured....one of the last in Newman's storied career but a great way to go out.

Mark S (ru) wrote: Simple story told and acted well, beautiful Appalachian scenery. Sundance winner. Highly Recommended.

Tammi B (jp) wrote: Two lesbian sister domestics go stir crazy and slay their repressive lesbian employers. Based on an actual case, better than you might think. UK version of the story.

Nevin B (kr) wrote: The Reverend is the funniest part of this movie but it's a classic. I guess I sometimes feel like him.

Andrew C (us) wrote: Probably the best movie of the night, about a depressed middle-aged woman, Rachel, who has over the years allowed herself to become shut off from the experiences of life. A virgin teacher brought up by an overbearing mother and a father who spent most of his time working as a mortician. After his death, Rachel was forced to move back home after college to take care of her ailing mother while teaching 2nd graders at the local school. I really enjoyed this movie, which was directed by Paul Newman who's wife, Joanne Woodward, plays the lead. It was also interesting to see Estelle Parsons in one of her earlier performances. She is probably best known for her role as Beverly Harris (Roseanne and Jackie's mother) on Roseanne; but here she's a fellow teacher and Rachel's friend who turns out to have feelings for Rachel and at one point makes a move on her.

Matt B (mx) wrote: A timeless classic that set the bar for both science fiction and horror genres. This film was both bold and innovative with a strong female lead and special effects that still hold up to this day. It's hard to believe this film is 37 years old and still is more efficient than most science fiction horror films.

Yuval M (us) wrote: great story of how hard it is for people to shake out of assigning roles to others or the roles that were assigned to them by others

Charlie M (de) wrote: Supposedly haunted castle soon becomes reality when two spirits take up residence. It's a goofy comedy that doesn't pretend to be intelligent.
