Nobody Knows Anybody

Maroon S (au) wrote: It was a great movie and I can't wait for the movie to come out

Alex W (es) wrote: Don't bother. If you're looking for something to do for 75 minutes I suggest watching paint dry or grass grow, it'll be more interesting than this movie.

Jake A (ru) wrote: With an incredible central performance by Bryan Cranston this biographical film not only looks at part of the life of Dalton Trumbo but also the dark and paranoid times which he lived in which not only impacted his life but many around him. The rest of the cast is also great, the production is solid, the script and plot is engrossing, the score is well done and timely and although it is far from the deepest biopic out there it is nonetheless entertaining and thoroughly engrossing as it arouses emotions concerning the political and social atmosphere at the time and how deeply wrong it was.

Jarrod S (ru) wrote: Dont even touch this lame a$$ movie, turned it off early

Angelina C (de) wrote: The movie is about a woman coming in to her own. Ashley Judd's character Lucy drinks a lot and has issues with intimacy. She is at an emotional crossroads. Lucy's struggle with her sense of self-worth is one that is familiar to many women. It is not a romantic movie and it's not a perfect drama but it is emotionally resonant and well crafted. Watch it for Judd's striking performance.

Patrick D (it) wrote: This is a fully solid zombie flick. It's well shot, and peppered with brief zaniness that is somewhat out of place but adds to throwing the viewer off serving to creep them out.

Trance G (us) wrote: This movie is magnificent! Just that. This movie is a huge part of my childhood and it is truly amazing and not boring as other reviews state. Even my girlfriend at 20 years old was thrilled when I showed this to her and loved it! It's fantastic with a great story and great morals for children (if that's what you are looking for) and I truly feel this movie is HIGHLY under appreciated! Give it a chance and watch it!

Billie S (de) wrote: The first and the best in a series of movies Mad Max. Mad Max was the first Miller's movie, and he made a huge effort to film it because he had a problem with a lack of money. How much money was missing shows the fact that about 20% of the action scenes are not recorded according to plan, Mazda Bongo car destroyed in the opening scene of the movie belonged to the director Miller and only two main actors had jackets of real leather, while all the others were copies. But that did not stop him to create a truly timeless classic. This futuristic movie, in which he managed to capture the special atmosphere of the raw and cruel world, is holding the Guinness record for most profitable movie. Mad Max is a hell of a good ride, but what makes the movie special is also the story, that other Mad Max movies do not have.

Bobby D (ca) wrote: Roger Moore is just soooo campy in this film an action flick he made on the side of his James Bond movies. It was funny how this film reminded me so much of the Die Hard action genre that would over run cinemas into the 1990s. The music score is still pure 1970`s and a little distracting but the story makes up for it. If you`re a cat lover you have to watch this movie.

Carl M (jp) wrote: After being falsely accused of murder, Jerry begins investigating the cause of his friend's violent attacks, which he links to an experimental psychedelic drug that was taken by a group of college students a decade earlier. Like in the Roger Corman classic THE TRIP, BLUE SUNSHINE explores the darker side of recreational drug use through the guise of a Horror film. While director Jeff Lieberman does not attempt to show the psychedelic effects of the drug from the user's perspective (as we have seen in EASY RIDER and others), he does paint a terrifying image of the drug-addled mind from a exterior vantage. The tension mounts as we begin to see signs of the characters slipping away into delusion, never knowing quite when they will strike. Zalman King competently plays the inquisitive Jerry Zipkin as he presses people for answers in an attempt to clear his name, and Mark Goddard is great as the crooked politician, Edward Flemming. Save for a few gaping plot holes and sluggish moments in the script, BLUE SUNSHINE is a strangely entertaining and frightful thriller that speaks strongly to the anti-drug hysteria of the time. -Carl ManesI Like Horror Movies

Keenan T (br) wrote: This isn't a very good movie by any standards, yet it definatly entertains. After I finished watching it all I could think was "wow, that was terrible.....why do I have a sudden urge to watch it again?..."

Christopher B (de) wrote: epic storytelling with two acting giants playing off each other in just a wide landscape...great departure for both leads

Sarah G (au) wrote: Although the majority of the film is littered with extremely dated (and some pretty funny) special effects, the final night of the young priest's three night church vigil features some spectacular scenes of ghoulies crawling down walls, creeping though cracks and stalking about. This is the priest's final stand against the witch who's soul he is ordered to save. It is a fight for his own soul's preservation as well, as he desperately cries out for God's protection, while menaced by terrifying monsters called forth by the evil witch.

Zoran S (de) wrote: Solid B-Western with some excellent deep-focus photography. The plot becomes a bit melodramatic at times but this is a nicely paced, taut film.

Ryan B (de) wrote: Katherine Heigl needs to apologize for making this movie.

Michael M (it) wrote: You can't get any more 80's than Top Gun. Still don't get Kelly McGillis though. Her choppers are just awful.

Wayne C (de) wrote: Okay film and not particularly well acted, that said it was okay to watch with a few scary, yet predictable scary moments.

Sarai K (au) wrote: Man, oh man am I trying to understand how this film is certified fresh. By far the worst hour and a half of my life....
