(ag) wrote: Artistically brilliant for a horror movie and very underrated. The picture quality and cinematography are excellent. It has a chilling feeling of isolation which keeps the suspense high. The excellent visuals make up for the linear, simple plot.
(nl) wrote: Not quite as bad as Big Bounce, mostly because Big Bounce had a decent cast and thus no excuse for being so godawful

(kr) wrote: "Hello?" This is a pretty routine Cold War spy thriller, but Siegel's direction manages to keep its tension just high enough for watching. Great cast of Bronson, Pleasence and Magee. And yes - the Moscow scenes were filmed in Helsinki with bit parts from our very own ?ke Lindman and Ansa Ikonen.

I felt Pacino did all he could with his role, therefore my faults are with the direction. The story is good, but the storytelling isn't. Then again, I tend to feel this way with each of Sidney Lumet's films."

(mx) wrote: Though in my opinion the book was better because it captivated the scenery better this adaptation was marvelous with great actors and causes us a great understanment and feeling due to its atmosphere that makes us laugh and cry and watch them enjoy their love as cancer is slowly seen as the antagonist but it won't stop our protagonists from being happy, young, together, and from enjoying their days as teenagers
(gb) wrote: Somewhat of a bummer. It's okay but it's not great. Does t have the comedy or gore, but it's worth the watch.
(kr) wrote: When I first decided to view this film, I didn't expect much. I'd heard it had a big impact on the 'coming of age' genre and the 90's, but I didn't think it would appeal to me the same way it did to others, boy was I wrong. American Pie is a hilarious comedy with a great cast of characters, each with their own over the top personality. Watching these teenagers land themselves in some of the most awkward situations is where a lot of the humour builds in; its defiantly one of my favourite comedy movies of the 90's.
