I tried to simphasize with the characters but I was not able to get involved with them, except maybe for a brief moment, that went away just as it came. Visually I found Upstream Color amazing and very strong, with a choice for the music nearly obsessive. The fact is not surprising if you consider that these two elements are probably the pillars of the movie, but again I didn't appreciate the movie and for more than half of the lasting I hoped that it would end soon.

Aprs, cela parle des seniors et en plus malades, alors c'est plus difficile s'identifier et le rythme en est d'autant touch... Ca reste un film trs intressant, presque innovant par certains aspects!

(gb) wrote: brutally graphic. A great reinactment of corruption in the police force. Scarey that it is based on a true story.:fresh:

(gb) wrote: Tries to be the "This Is Spinal Tap" of rap music but lacks the tight direction and style. When it opens as a straight mockumentary it's got legs and the cameos in the open are great but it gets away from that and tries to become a Wayans-style parody but isn't raw enough. Still, some classic lines from Charlie Murphy and Art Evans keep it watchable. "Fear of a Black Hat" is still way better!
(ru) wrote: The voice actors, and their performances, are pretty good. And there's a few laughs. But it's mostly not funny. It's got a bad story that doesn't fit the runtime. The movie is also to long. Kids will probably like it, but adults will not.
