The executives who greenlit this film must have known what they were doing- why else would they have done it?How does this happen? This movie is one of the most incoherent and witless wastes of time any living organism could ever experience physically doing something. This failed business investment is really just a bunch of famous people talking into the camera for no obvious reason and making less than immature jokes about the Hollywood movie industry that are so obvious and so uninsightful- this lazy, shockingly incompetent film is such a pointless waste of time that you might as well have a conversation with a bunch of friends about something that is of no interest to any of you or your friends. This movie is that bad. The group of stars who were in this movie whose careers were ruined include names like Ryan O'Neal, Eric Idle, Coolio and Whoopi Goldberg- none of whom had careers after this abysmal disaster. The film was such a critical disaster and a commercial flop, it stripped all of those stars of their bankability and destroyed their reputation right then and there, mainly because they made the decision to star in it, and they were all so uncommonly bad in this movie. That's a real shame.

There's plenty of action and and Scott is commanding in the lead, though with is usual laid back charm. Not one of the better Boetticher/Scott pairings, but it's good none-the-less.
