David H (au) wrote: This is possibly the most laughable sequel ever made. First of all, the shark is so fake it beats the gliding, floating space shark from Jaws 3. And to make matters worse, in 95% of the time the monster is onscreen, you will see it's hydraulics. Now, I'm not one to dwell on how monsters look in horror movies, but I'll let the pictures in 'JAWS: THE REVENGE TRAILERS AND PHOTOS' above speak for themselves in support of the fake shark theory.

Ryan V (mx) wrote: It's campy, but takes itself seriously at odd moments. It's big, dumb fun, but I wouldn't necessarily call it good. At the end of the day, it's exactly what you'd expect: a late 1980s wrestling movie, starring Hulk Hogan, where they cling to the idea that wrestling matches are authentic, and not crafted with predetermined outcomes. So seriously does it take itself, and the good vs. evil theme, that the villain cripples Hogan's younger brother and attempts to murder our hero during the climactic match.
