Mayank A (es) wrote: Well-made biography on golfing legend Seve Ballesteros, even though i don't know anything about golf, i still enjoyed the movie. It's more about the person then the sports, Seve's passion and determination to be the best in world, his dedication and sacrifice to the sports is amazing.

Jon T (it) wrote: i really enjoyed this - another 'feel good' movie kinda in the same vein as 'big fish' and it's great to see columbo (peter falk) excelling in the main role (and big up judge reinhold!). It is a bit slow tho and the love interest is really predictable. good fun nonetheless!

Ian Y (jp) wrote: The good parts are that it opens with a Talking Heads song, Melanie Griffith is a babe, and the end credits have an equally interesting exit song. It's interesting to think the director of this also made "Silence of the Lambs". This movie does have it's crazy parts though...

Richard D (mx) wrote: Really spotty, but enjoyable in a way Godard almost always is. I'm not sure how sincerely he meant this film, but it (possibly unintentionally) accurately captures how the young can become obsessed with minutae that seems overwhelmingly important at the time.

Nasu N (ag) wrote: Although people needed to actually 'hollywood' this film therefore not giving a vivid representation of reality, I can't say that this film sucks because it's really good. These are the kind of films I enjoy because of how gruesome and intense it is. You can feel the claustrophobic atmosphere in this film and it stays there for a really long time. The only problem I have would be that it mainly focuses on keeping Captain Phillips hostage and never really does anything else, given that this is based on a true story however, what can you work with? They already had to exaggerate enough. For what it is, Captain Phillips will leave you feeling apprehensive and frantic all the way, and I have to give special credit to Tom Hanks who delivers such a defying performance at the end.

Eliabeth G (ru) wrote: Excellent coming of age story, beautifully acted by a Anna Paquin and Jeff Daniels. I really liked how they showed how Amy and her Father healed together and by taking care of the Geese.

Andrew S (it) wrote: Started to lose interest as the story went on. All the magic and witches just didn't captivate me.
