. Benji S (ca) wrote: This movie represent everything I hate in modern-day animated child comedy movies. While the first film remains my favorite animated movie of all time, this movie is easily my LEAST favorite animated movie of all time. Remember the clever writing of the first one? Remember the interesting elements of being told the same story from multiple perspectives? Remember seeing a movie that managed to confine its plot better than the Shrek franchise and immensely benefited in that element? Well, all of that is now gone with Hoodwinked Too. You'll grow to hate the characters you used to love and won't laugh once. The first movie's lackluster animation was excusable due to the incredible accomplishment that was VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING ELSE. While this movie improves the animation, it sacrifices every other thing that made the first movie at all enjoyable. Please do not see this movie. You'll only encourage the greedy executives who thought that a sequel was a good idea to make more.

Nathaniel V (kr) wrote: City Lights is a movie that having watched it almost a century after it was made came across as being quite unoriginal with its silly slapstick humor and cliche romantic story. Of course whenever I put into perspective how this movie was one of the original originals and was one of the pioneers for the romantic comedy genre, it certainly became a bit more interesting. Charlie Chaplin, playing his famous role the Tramp, will keep you laughing and grinning, as well as feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside. The music score of City Lights is in my opinion the highlight of the whole movie for it is what gives emotion to it and what really makes it come to life. City Lights is definitely a must watch for any person, but especially those who would like to take a journey to the past and get lost in another time.
