Luciano G (ca) wrote: This tv movie was intense at parts and good enough to keep me interested in it......it had excitement and good dialog.....this was a good take on the Lizzie Borden story ... the final scene where Lizzie reveals the truth was done quite well...

Kiomi P (es) wrote: Totally something you don't see every day! Good plot, maybe Astrid Beges could've done a stronger interpretation, but definitely, definitely, something one doesn't see every day!

Farah R (ru) wrote: A very entertaining action thriller with good performances by Costner and Herd. Unfortunately it's still a cliche story and very boring at times.

Mark A (ag) wrote: A humorous look at a not very humorous condition: being fired. This viewer can relate to the subject matter, as he has been fired from numerous jobs, and he has dealt with many of the issues touched on here. The actress, Annabelle Gurwitch, after being fired from a play by Woody Allen, sets out on a quest to interview people from all walks of life to try to find how people cope with losing their livelihood. A lot of the material is tongue-in-cheek, but the underlying message is quite apporpriate in today's economy. The way to get over the trauma of being let go, canned, down-sized, right-sized (my personal favorite), or just plain fired, is to see it as an opportunity to re-invent yourself, capitalizing on your strengths and go out and find another job. This viewer found it quite entertaining, and while it may not be a recipe for recovery, it certainly doesn't hurt to find something to laugh about in the midst of what can undermine one's self-worth. A great deal of humor, but some real poignancy as well, especially the footage about the GM workers in Lansing, MI.

Graham L (nl) wrote: There are good movies and not so good movies. This one is even worse. The story line is rather on the dull side of mediocre, and the acting only slightly better. To brighten it up the director tried the compulsory sex scenes, but even they were rather yawnsome. The monsters were a little pathetic, and one memorable splash of blood looked very much like Wocestershire sauce. I give this two stars for the actors who dared to appear in it.

csela b (ag) wrote: Lacking some sense in the end. This film is more about poetry and atmosphere, don't expect much action. Otherwise it is beautiful.

AJ R (jp) wrote: "Grave of the Fireflies" successfully portrays the heartbreaking reality of war and the destruction of the family unit with beautiful animation and a talented voice cast, though the devastating plot is very hard to swallow and will likely leave you feeling depressed for days afterwards.
