Frances S (kr) wrote: Gotta love a movie entirely based on the premise of sexism. Well, no, actually. It's packed full of jokes, but they're only funny if you think they're true. I laughed out loud once, against my better judgement. A few tender acting moments redeemed it briefly.

Billy P (ca) wrote: This cyberpunk masterpiece has James Cameron's stamp all over it. I am biased as I saw this when I was a teen and it stuck with me. Fantastic soundtrack, amazing characters and character growth, they really do evolve as people in this fine film. Ralph and Angela are simply sublime and their relationship is beautiful at times. Visually stunning, great plot and wonderful acting. A must watch.
Patrick F (br) wrote: Full of funny and clever moments and ideas, but a little on-the-nose and heavy-handed to be a great film.
Private U (au) wrote: Two words, "Hello, Motherfuckers!" shouted by a possessed woman towards her preacher-husband and archaeologist-father-in-law as a funk-tastic 70's soundtrack blares in the background. Featuring shaky special effects and more fried chicken than your local KFC, this movie is a blast!

victor l (nl) wrote: Cast a Giant Shadow could have been a great picture because it had a great cast, but it remained short in the way it portrayed the great leadership of Mickey Marcus and the State of Israel road to independence. Kirk Douglas is great, Sneta Berger is miscast, Frank Sinatra is frankly wasted and ridiculous, John Wayne is Ok and Angie Dickinson is Ok, as well. The film is entertaining and partially informative, the show is too subjective and too Hollywood to be taken seriously.
Sonya M (us) wrote: So....I guess the world's most powerful pheromone would cause a town orgy. Unique story; has a cool but creepy vibe, from the visuals to the music. I almost felt sorry for the main character - especially when he makes his "entrance" in the movie. Who could grow up to be normal being born into and raised with such circumstances? That first scene was probably the most unforgettable. If you like dark but interesting stories and appreciate art, this is a movie for you.
