Nick D (gb) wrote: Possibly the worst horror movie I have seen since The Apparition. I wasted three days watching it, all for just a disturbing and bad ending. I mean its not that terrible, but its not that good.

Ollie W (es) wrote: Extremely entertaining, needlessly gory effort from the master of camp Patrice Chareau. It might be historically dubious and over sexed - but everyone looks beautiful and it's very entertaining.

Keegan D (ag) wrote: There might be a little dark scene, but All Dogs Go To Heaven is great film that if you sin, you may be forgiving to heaven if you do something right. There might be a lie and reveal situation, but that's only in some parts of the movie. The main character Charlie reminds me of my brother Jared in a way, while I am sort of like Itchy in a way. Its true cause we did some terrible Sins in the past, but we were forgiving by the Catholic Church. Some of this stuff relates to the story, but it's main moral in the story is you have a second chance in life if you pray, forgive and do right things in life.

Maxwell D (br) wrote: Being a Ken Russell fan helps tremendously in enjoying this bizarre, steamy character study. Apparently, the European cut is the kinky one (and the one I had the opportunity to see): This is the cut I recommend. Kathleen Turner and Anthony Perkins are both stellar in their performances, though everyone involved is pretty good in their own right. Though flawed and painfully 80s at times, I highly recommend this strange and wonderful film.

MF J (de) wrote: A major film by Norman Jewison, Fiddler on the Roof is as much of a visual spectacle as it is a marvelous partition of music. Weather you enjoy or not musicals, i personally can't stand most of them, be ready for a slice of film making like only they knew how to cook them back in the days. Sure it stands for old fashion values and traditional family life but Topol is magnificent and manages to stay incredibly lovable even when he loses his temper. The rest of the cast is amazingly good and each of the characters feel true to his/her convictions. The cinematography, the score, the sets, the costumes, everything here is perfectly crafted to offer one of these monumental entertainment for the whole family. Shot in 1971, the film still stands as one of the best musicals ever made on screen. Brilliant, inventive, traditional but avant-garde in a way, this is a touching, daring and marvelous ensemble. Definitely a timeless must see.

Wayne S (de) wrote: Always been a big fan of The Poseidon Adventure. So I am greatly interested in seeing the 2 remakes: Poseidon and The (made for tv) Poseidon Adventure. Watched Poseidon today. Stars Kurt Russell and has a few others in it. Takes the plot of the original film: boat hit by big wave, survivors trying to get out through the bottom. That's about it though. None of the characters are the same, no Mr and Mrs Rosen, no Ackers, no Preacher, no Rogo. Richard Dreyfus plays a character reminiscent of Red Buttons. Josh Lukas and Kurt for Ernest and Gene. The new movie delivers on action and intensity that the original didn't strive for, but it lacked the character development that made the original such a memorable film.
