College student Beca knows she does not want to be part of a clique, but that's exactly where she finds herself after arriving at her new school. Thrust in among mean gals, nice gals and just plain weird gals, Beca finds that the only thing they have in common is how well they sing together. She takes the women of the group out of their comfort zone of traditional arrangements and into a world of amazing harmonic combinations in a fight to the top of college music competitions.

Pitch Perfect is an outrageously comedy that also stars Anna Camp, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson. Beca is that girl who'd rather listen to what's coming out of her headphones than what's coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together, in the new out-loud comedy Pitch Perfect. . (gb) wrote: I really liked Elizabeth Banks in this movie but it was all very typical. Not sure if it's because I've seen so many suspense movies that it always turns out the same way. There really weren't any surprises. meh.
(kr) wrote: It had its moments, but I can't really see what all the fuss is about.

(de) wrote: Kerrigan's masterpiece is a brilliant example of brave, honest and completely original filmmaking. In classic cinema-verite style, this film explores child abduction, schizophrenia and self-induced alienation perfectly. The performances are gut-wrenchingly honest and the message is important without being preachy. With each new film Kerrigan gets more and more accomplished, taking a page from the Cassavetes way of filming, and giving us complex character studies that are fiercely honest and free from manipulative Hollywood bullshit. A true inspiraton to aspiring artists around the world. Best of all, the film has a tender third act where we truly care about the characters outcome. It's a relentless character study, where we're forced to observe Keane's isolation and are left wondering about his past.

(br) wrote: A gritty Urban Drama, where environment and reactions depict the plot. Walters is has always been a pretty natural Actor and the film has a realistic feel with harsh reality

(es) wrote: A very entertaining film taking place right after the first film. It kinda jumps around at first with the dates but you get use to them. I love how its like the first film, a grand period piece. The feel of the mid 60's with the war, drugs and the feel to hang on to the past. I feel it is just as enjoyable as the first film, maybe even a little more.

(ag) wrote: Another fine example of how not to do a video game based movie! Look at "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World", that is a film in which it knows of what it's supposed to be, and they have fun with it! Here, it kinda focus's on what it is, then it doesn't, flashy, fatty, sexy, a derpy derp, a derpidy dippy derpy dumb!! Oh for God's sake! Even Micheal C. Hall doesn't even look like he cares for the role he plays in this film! Just mailing it in!
