Shaun H (ru) wrote: Oh my god. This movie is THE WORST THING I have ever seen. I hate all of the characters, the have no good quality. The effects look like crap. The story, the script and everything else was crap. The humor was the worst. Watch this with friends and laugh at how terrible this was. They barked up the wrong sequel.

Paul P (fr) wrote: Really well told take on the life of Linda Lovelace. The way that the story is told shows different perspectives in a powerful way and the lead performances os Seyfried and Saarsgard are very strong. Recommended....

Norman F (au) wrote: A warm fuzzy charming comedy. One of my all time favs.

Private U (de) wrote:, touching shit and all, but wasn't this some kind of fucking teen novel? CAN WE STOP MAKING MOVIES OUT OF THAT SHIT?! PLZ KTHXBAI

Jo T (jp) wrote: Life as a house is a touching story packed with a ton of potential. Kelvin Kline's outstanding performance however was about the only thing that really brought it home for me. There was moments that showed a lot of authenticity, however a lot of the film had a horrible sense of clich (C) lached on to it and the teenage angst displayed was a little too over acted and at times a little annoying. You will enjoy it, you will feel uplifted, and you may even shed a tear, but I recommend a good travelling pillow and a glass of wine to get there.

Timothy S (kr) wrote: For every good cop movie out there, there are a dozen just like "Striking Distance", a ridiculous patchwork of cop movie cliches held together by a threadbare serial killer storyline and laughable dialogue. Writer and director Rowdy Herrington turned a mess just like this into pure gold a few years back with "Roadhouse" but he cannot work that same magic again with this mess. There are enough red herrings for two movies, a tired plot and at the center of it all a very weary-looking Bruce Willis going through the motions. He's given some of the most embarrassing one-liners of his career and a character who is such a cliche it's almost a parody. We've all seen this disgraced cop slumming in a job that's beneath him a dozen times before, and since Willis is slumming himself. He's not even trying to do anything fresh with this material.Sarah Jessica Parker is completely miscast as his new partner, and you fail to see what she sees in him when their relationship inevitably turns romantic. The big reveal at the end will have you scratching your head twice trying to take it all in, and I'm still trying to sort out just how plausible it really is. The entire mess culminates in a preposterous extended chase scene in which Robert Pastorelli proves to have more lives than a cat. There are some decent action sequences early on, but "Striking Distance" is a paint-by-numbers police thriller without a single original thought or concept. You can tell by watching it that Willis feels his fans deserve better, and you know what? He's right.

Michael W (ca) wrote: Charles Band film has man dabbling in black magic and conjuring up the Ghoulies. Takes a bit to get going. Great VHS box cover of Ghoulie emerging from a toilet laughingly overhypes this as a 'box-office sensation melding the humor and suspense of ET'. I'm left with the impression that producers hadn't yet figured out what to do with these creatures.

Greg W (au) wrote: would make a gr8 dble feature with Michum's "the Lusty Men" i'm just full of dble features today!

Hernan J (kr) wrote: The first Beatle to go in a solo project was the late GEORGE HARRISON. The result was the soundtrack for this film, which also features ERIC CLAPTON on guitar. Sort of Psychedelic reality movie with Jane Birkin (Je t'aime moi non plus). I always thought it was directed by Paul Harris.

Cooper H (ca) wrote: Max Payne was payneful to watch. A terrible revenge story couples with a drug that makes people expert soldiers and see demons makes for a terrible plot. Wahlberg as the lead does nothing to make the movie any better.
