I reckon USED is the proper term for this kind of blunders which will not have any discretion on the term of ACTING. Any movie will be better off without these type of people. The movie ONLY just relay on power performances from Forest Whitaker and Robert De Niro. Suffice to say complete waste of time.

Acorazado gives us a fantastic glimpse into the psyche of Mexico/Cuban politics, and we are treated to some truly fascinating and mesmerizing characters, in Veracruz, and on the island of Cuba. A real slice of life is captured, in ways many of us have never seen. I was moved that what we learn, is casting away the illusion of politics, what truly makes us all happy, are the people of our lives, our family, and the places that we call home. It is a comedy, and a tragedy, in that we laugh at the stupidity of our hero trying to run away, when in fact, at the end of the day, you never can truly, run away from yourself. What a great, small film from Alvaro Curiel.

Ahmed M (nl) wrote: While the film itself is great, it has many plot holes, but one of the biggest one being is, what are Krrish's powers? In some scenes he is so under powered but in other scenes he is really overpowered.

Benjamin P (nl) wrote: Far from a bad film, though it doesn't weigh much compared to the best of the 50's french film noir classics from Jean-Pierre Melville and Jacques Becker.

Kevin R (fr) wrote: I enjoyed this enourmously. The lovable characters, and the ENDLESSLY quotable script make this one a real gem.

Alec B (gb) wrote: Nothing is convincing in this film, from the awkward and sudden tonal shifts to the cheap production values to the unintentionally hilarious performances . . . out of all the times James Caan has been miscast in a movie, this has to be one of the worst.

Felipe F (kr) wrote: Babenco's raw and strong grip combined with a piercing script and a fully committed performance from William Hurt makes Kiss of the Spider Woman a brutal and realistic depiction of military dictatorship in Brazil.
