(ca) wrote: While it provided a good look at the struggles with Alzheimer's, it was slow moving and difficult to watch at times.
(jp) wrote: its an okay idea for a movie which is spoiled by some terrible acting, and overly sentimental themes. cow belles is an original disney movie which, like most of them, follows the annoyingly repetitive guidelines of a children's movie, where the main characters will always prevail in predictable ways, and the bad-guy usually fails in predictable slap-stick accidents. almost attrocious.

(ca) wrote: A great story with good cinematography that captures the imagination in both kids and adults- It has something for all ages! I think this is one of the last big films Osment has been in lately, but he plays his part marvelously!
(ca) wrote: Casper Van Dien and Robert England are horrible actors in this film. You know i know Mr. Englund is great with slasher mvies and Mr. Van Dien is good with bugs. But neither are great with a snake. So they should lay off.
(ca) wrote: As with most movies involving the IRA, this one involves a ton of conflict, broken relationships and crisis of faith. Obviously not a good choice for a light watch. Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman are, as always, wonderful. The rest of the cast is very good too, even Julia Roberts who manages quite a good accent!
(nl) wrote: War drama with plenty of merit, but never really attempts to emphasise its message.
(kr) wrote: So I am watching this movie on HBO and it makes me realize how crappy the movies I have been watching in theaters lately are. The realism, the snappy dialogue, the truly excellent performances by DeNiro and Keaton and Jackson. Great film.

(fr) wrote: Witty 90's flick, probably Judge's cinematic best.
(gb) wrote: What I like of this script is the story (it has some cliches but doesn't end as a typical movie from the USA, and that's more like it). The acting is amazing (even if the script has some flaws I admit). James McAvoy always giving a stunning performance, same Mark Strong. Oh, and if you watch THE WALKING DEAD, you may recognize someone in this film from it. Enjoy. - August 1st, 2014 review.
