Heather M (fr) wrote: An imaginative story with a unique way of looking at reality from the perspectives of many characters. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good mystery plot.

Rahat A (ca) wrote: Absolutely a solid movie, a coming of age movie done right!

Joshua R (mx) wrote: Hi friends, all in the effort to spread the word, if you would do me the honour of clicking "want to see it" at rotten tomatoes. Much appreciated

Joseph C (fr) wrote: Extremely silly comedy about a self-indulgent private investigator who winds up on a cruise ship full of rich patrons, gorgeous women, murderous terrorists, and scarce food.

Eduardo C (ag) wrote: The story of a poor English boy who is abused by nearly everyone, and his falcon whom he captures and trains, and does not consider a pet, because the bird is "Wild, untameable , and free".

Dave J (jp) wrote: Wednesday, September 10, 2014 (1957) The Big Land WESTERN It opens with Chad Morgan (Alan Ladd) getting a real crappy deal regarding selling some cattle to Brog (Anthony Caruso). For it doesn't explain why Chad couldn't have sold the cattle to someone else. We then find out that Chad used to fought on the side of the Confederacy, and because the civil war had just ended, much of the pro-Yankee residents of some of the current towns he's stopping in don't respect him. He does however manage to find a barn and strikes up a friendship with an alcoholic named Joe( Edmond O'Brien). Because Joe was looking for more liquor, he manages to get out of a hanging when Chad intervenes. And after they ride off together, we learn more things about Joe, that he has some connections to the railway station, and coincidently Brog suddenly becomes involved. This is one of those movies where one can predict when bad things start to happen, is when the good guys stand there doing nothing until good people get killed. Therefore, it's very routine stuff. Alan Ladd's actual son have a pretty funny scene except that it's not another "Shane" western. 2 out of 4 stars

Aaron V (gb) wrote: Rather enjoyable old film.

Ben R (es) wrote: Only die-hard Stooge fans need sit through this one. The plot is a tired rehash of every backstage Broadway story ever told, with the usual rags to riches starlot ending the show with a huge musical number. Fast forward to the scenes with Larry, Moe, and Curly and you'll do alright, although some of even their gags are lifted from their short films.

Rangan R (ru) wrote: Love triangle when the friendship is the only thing that's standing in between. Is it about the good girls? Looks like that way until the summer break before these two friends get going for the freshman year college. So they decide to lose their virginity, but they both fall for a same boy. Their's long standing friendship will be tested, the remaining film tells who lose the bet and how.Good cast, but the story was from the Lily's perspective that played by Dakota Fanning. The boy and Elizabeth Oslen were kind of in the support roles. A simple love triangle story, but the actings were good. 'Little Birds', 'Ginger & Rosa', 'Violet & Daisy', 'Ghost World', 'Thirteen' name it. This kind of two thick friends theme is quite popular, but mostly average ones like this.Well, it was not one of those movies of the year that I was expecting, so enjoyed what it provided in a limited scale. A few times I was annoyed too, for the turns in the narration, but the way it ended compromised my overall thought. This is a decent coming-of-age movie, which is not worth to suggest anyone openly, but you can give it a try if you get a shot.6 1/2/10

Joshua N (br) wrote: one of the worst movies you will ever see. read the reviews of the people who liked this and remind yourself not to talk to them. they want to sell you pot.

Dedmeet C (mx) wrote: I only have three good things to say about this movie. Its a zombie-flick (you know I love em), it features Danny Trejo (a pro), and theres plenty of gore. Thats the good stuff. The bad stuff - and Ill make it short - is insanely passive, illogical and chardboardy characters (and Im assuming they werent going for a parody here). The gore is plentyfull but too often so obviously CGI and low budget. Most schoolkids could whip up more realistic fakeblood by the way, but I liked a lot of the prosthetics. The plot is straightforward and nonimaginative, with very little depth, but what reeeeeally bugs me is the stupid, illogical, passive, unnatural behaviour of people. Its like a parody that takes itself dead serious. Oh...And how can anyone cast two grown-ups, almost middleaged men, as two 12- and 15-year old lads??? I mean rewrite the script if you refuse to use young actors ffs! Their age had no bearing on the plot at all, so why...?So fairly entertaining for those of us with low requirements, but poorly executed production I suppose. More attention to detail could have lifted thisup to a totally other level.
