Brandan W (ca) wrote: The title of this movie should have been a give away of what was to come. Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club. There was a made for TV movie called Billionares Boys Club in the 80's. Changing billion to million and boys to boyz doesn't cut it. Belly by Hype Williams is a crime classic hands down.Belly 2 is nowhere close to the original. The Game is a talented music artist, not an actor. On screen he doesn't seem comfortable. Check out his role in Street Kings for further proof. DMX and NAS in the original Belly have a presence. Us movie fans can't see what is happening behind the scenes, but it looks like every director pushes The Game to act over the top as a criminal. They might as well have him wear a hat and shirt that screams I AM A GANGSTER! It doesn't fly with movie fans. DMX and NAS had a subtle edge to them in Belly. If this movie was not called Belly 2 movie fans may have not expected as much. It was not close to the original.

Tim M (ag) wrote: Only in Japan. This tops Meatball Machine, a truly bizarre film. It starts of with an incredible opening scene. Ranging from funny to hilarious, in spots it's too campy for it's own good. The main character, Shiina from Audition, is gorgeous. The weapons, kills and plot are ridiculous and creative, the music is decent. The amputee blows Rose McGowan from Planet Terror out of the water.

Ian E (nl) wrote: "Mr. Nobody" has thought-provoking themes that influence the mind throughout viewing, even though it gets too didactic at times and it is difficult to comprehend given how the multiple storylines are edited.

Christopher W (mx) wrote: Absolute garbage. The makers of this film must be robots, orphans or aliens who skim read a book about familial human relationships written by a man who lives under a rock. This film is made up of several thousand contradicting and confused stereotypes that make me want to vomit. Comparisons may be made to "Father of the Bride" but this is like comparing an ice cube to an iceberg. Utter rot.

Anita (ru) wrote: Interesting story. Good twist, but would have been better if Gerard had reprised his role.

Fergus L (br) wrote: While it is just an over extended episode that can be condensed into 20 minutes, Bebop offers a solid narative with smooth animation and high quality voice acting from Steve Blum. Note: fans of the series, watch this film between episodes 22 and 23 of the series as that is the time of which it is set and is not the conclusion to the series.

Blake N (jp) wrote: I really like this film. Basically 2 boyhood friends who reconnect and share a summer together. Characters were quite good, and the acting was fine, a few scenes were awkward and seemed outside of the plot/storyline, but as a coming-of-age tale, it worked really well.

Steve G (ca) wrote: This is a very strange psychological thriller. Jennifer Jason Leigh gives a fine performance as a woman teetering on the edge of insanity and the supporting actors are a colorful cast of characters. There are some strange scenes that seem out of place with the rest of the movie but the story comes together nicely in a strong finish.

Leon B (ru) wrote: Review:This is a very average movie about a woman who is fighting for her life in a flat by herself. The storyline and the action was pretty unrealistic but I did stick with the movie because I found the concept quite intriguing. Its about a woman called Everly (Hayek) who has to fight against various hitmen who are sent to her apartment because she betrayed her ex, who just happens to be a big time crime boss. As she isn't able to leave the apartment and her ex has the police in his pocket, she is left to take matters into her own hands whilst trying to save her mother and daughter. With a bounty on her head, she really doesn't know were the next hitman is going to strike, so she has to use some brutal survival tactics to stay alive. After many explosions and dead bodies, she finally comes face to face with her ex, which leads to a showdown worth watching. The movie wasn't spectacular but it's full of action and Hayek did play the action hero quite well. The main problem that I found with the film was that there wasn't much depth to the storyline or the characters. It just seems to jump in at the deep end without much explanation. It seemed like one big gun fight after another and when it eventually slows down she ends up picking up another gun and killing someone else. The showdown at the end wasn't bad and I did like the hitman that was dying on the couch but it's mainly all about the action. The director did try to add an emotional concept to the film by introducing her cute daughter but there's just too much going on to try a build a relationship with the two. Anyway, it's basically a big shoot out in a apartment were a woman is fighting for her life so prepare for intense action without much drama. Average!Round-Up:What did ever happened to Salma Hayek? At one point, she was always on the big screen in movies like Desperado, From Dusk Til' Dawn and Traffic but she seemed to go out of the spotlight for sometime. She also starred in the terrible Grown Up movies with Adam Sandler and she played the love interest in Here Come The Boom but they were really bad choices in my opinion. She wasn't bad in Savages as the drug lord but she really hasn't blown up on the big screen for some time. Maybe this movie will show that she can tackle the action roles as well as the comedic, sexy roles that she usually takes on. Anyway, the film was directed by Joe Lynch who brought you Wrong Turn 2, Chillerama and Knights Of Badassdom, which I haven't seen or heard of. You can tell that this movie was made by someone who hasn't got that much experience in this type of movie because it seemed like he was having fun by showing the many different ways that a person can get killed. At the beginning of the film, Hayek seems like a vulnerable woman who didn't have a clue about shooting a gun or killing someone with her bare hands but within a few minutes, she becomes a brutal killer who knows all the mechanics of a gun and how to use swords and explosives. This was a bad choice by the director because it didn't make the character seem real or believable. Anyway, it's a watchable movie which does have a few decent scenes but the script could have done with a rewrite.I recommend this movie to people who are into their action/thrillers about a woman who is fighting for her life after her ex, crime boss boyfriend sends various henchmen to her house to kill her. 3/10
