Ryan B (it) wrote: Not great. There were little parts of the film that made me laugh, but not worth watching on the hole. Just a very average comedy.

Alan E (ru) wrote: A VASTLY underrated film. I personally rate it as my favorite musical of all time. The story is good and the performance of Shirley MacLaine strangely neglected. While not a singer's singer, Shirley voice is totally "right" for the character. Nobady should want a sweet voice typical dubbing job in this story about a dance hall hostess. the Dancing is terrific. This was Bob fosse's directional debut and it deserved far more accolades than it ever got. I've recommended it for years, And everyone who has seen it, has seen what I saw. At the time the UK magazine "Films & Filming" did select Ms Maclaine's performance as the best of the year. Fosse's use of freeze frame, sets mood and character references brilliantly, the script is funny and moving. A GREAT film

Brian K (fr) wrote: Considered the first "outlaw couple on the run" movie, You Only Live Once is a little more on-the-nose than Bonnie and Clyde or Badlands but nevertheless very effective.

Nick L (gb) wrote: Decent actors, but takes too long to get why the kid has a change of heart.

Danush S (au) wrote: Million Dollar Baby is a great movie and by far one of the greatest boxing movies I've ever watched. The acting is just MIND-BLOWING, and i could say that it would also be a great movies to watch with your family too. Although, this movie could have been made better by focusing a little more on the training part and the early life of Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank). But overall its a must-watch to hollywood lovers.

Carlos M (fr) wrote: Jarmusch knows quite well the kind of engrossing atmosphere that he wants to invoke with this story of old-fashioned, cultivated vampires who feel deeply disappointed in people's disdain for Science and Art and are doomed to succumb in the mediocrity that dominates the world.

Mary C (jp) wrote: just rewatched this movie, and I still love the mystery/action/romance. maybe a little too nostalgic for the black & white movies at some points, but still a great film. i can see why they casted these actors, but uma thurman kind of feels wrong. shrug. still love it after all of these years. =)
