Pudo haber sido incendiaria y provocativa por el tema y por las figuras retratadas, pero se queda tibia... Y ms me frustra que un genio como Cronenberg no haya hecho ms teniendo este material entre sus manos...

Zachary G (fr) wrote: The stoyline of a group of friends in an isolated cabin is not new to the horror genre but the movie is decent enough. Think remake of THE SHINING. The beginning has a few corny jokes and awful dialogue. Atmosphere and suspense is great! I was expecting more blood and gore with only a few violent scenes. Unfortunately the movie finishes right after the climax and is very open ended.

A story about a 15 year old (played by Natalaie who was probably at least 22 yrs) whom comes from a broken home and finds she can sing so off she goes to become a star...not even a pair of shoes on her feel. Soon she falls in love with a gay guy, gets married, and dumped... even though she was naive in marriage at least she got to become a big star....

I like how the vampires can run around in the daytime and not be afraid of crosses. This is well explained by the fact that there are different "species" of vampires that exist (which explains Twilight). Fun acting by all.

Edward G (jp) wrote: A first half filled with lots of gore but plenty of intrigue and visceral thrill quickly descends into all I can describe as wretched, sickening filth. I can handle violence. I can handle gore. I can't handle a young girl being flayed while a group of old people clap and call it science.
