Al K (jp) wrote: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? THE ENDING IS NOT SATISFYING!!!!!!! (Spoiler alert: they did not kiss at the end and they needed too, that is why you should not watch the movie unless you like sucky endings that leave you feeling unsatisfied.) Other than that, the movie was okay.

Damion R (de) wrote: "Faubourg 36" is a cute little French film about a band of artists who try to revive a theatre in Paris in the 30s. The only reason I had heard of this film was due to it's Oscar nomination for Best Original Song (which it lost to "Crazy Heart"). By no means an exceptional film, but it was quite cute in many ways and visually very well done. However, there is nothing particularly noteworthy about it, leaving me kinda here nor there.

Jeremy P (nl) wrote: Could've been better if it weren't for useless and irrelevant distractions (such as Joanne Goldwater's proclamation that she doesn't regret her abortion... awkward!) and a little bit of pro-Democrat bias (should've reined Al Franken in a little bit).

Katelyn M (mx) wrote: Another bad sequel that should never have been made.

bill b (ag) wrote: All what i remember is that this film had a very tiring editing...

Hannah D (kr) wrote: Being a big fan of Kathy Bates and Stephen King, I had high expectations of this film, and I was not disappointed. It is a very slick intriguing thriller about a woman who is accused of murdering her domineering elderly employer. I liked the relationship between Dolores and her daughter Selena, and thought the flashbacks which blended in seamlessly with the present were cleverly done.

The Next Starfighter (kr) wrote: Has anyone seen The Ultimate Vampire? Flixster doesn't have it listed, but I assure you it's available on home video(I have a laserdisc copy). It also stars Lam Ching Ying. It has ghosts, hopping vampires, zombies and a badass wizard. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes Mr. Vampire. It's a shame Ultimate Vampire isn't listed on Flixster

Kim A (it) wrote: Very effective film noir made on a shoestring. Although the plot is somewhat contrived, the nightmare sequence that forms the centrepiece of the film is very powerful and beautifully shot. This alone makes the film worth seeing and a it's a good example of the genre.

Ethan L (ca) wrote: The movie earns minor points for the last 15- 20 minutes that makes up for the rest of the DOA film. D+

Sanchayan S (gb) wrote: Sensuous , stylized and nicely delivered , Wachowski Brothers delivers a nice , gritty plot that ultimately does not go the long way as it stumbled towards the end delivering an anti-climax in its ultimate sequences

Jack P (au) wrote: First things first this will never beat the original but it certainly give it a run for its money. Hairspray features the talents of christopher walken and john travolta. Making this remake feel fresh and damn right hilarious, a retelling of the ultimate feel good film. Hairspray can be watched again and again.

Luke K (ag) wrote: They Came Together is not your average romantic comedy, and it isn't even your average parody of a romantic comedy. This movie is an over-the-top, slapstick throwback to classic spoof comedies like Airplane! and the Naked Gun series, and it is amazing. Basically a 90 minute SNL sketch (except much better), this movie is hilarious. It's my favourite David Wain movie, and I give him props for being bold enough to make a feature-length comedy in this overly slapstick style in 2014, as this kind of silly, old-fashioned comedy is rarely seen today. With amazing performances, cameos, a super fun spirit and genuinely hilarious moments, They Came Together is one of the better comedies I've seen in recent years. It's stupid and over-the-top without ever being annoying or obnoxious (probably because Paul Rudd is just too likeable), and it pulls apart the rom-com without ever coming across as trying too hard. I'm not surprised that They Came Together was divisive, and some people will dismiss it as stupid and childish. But I think it gets the balance perfect, and for what it is, it's a fun time.

Vincent P (mx) wrote: A whole lotta fun. The gigantic sets and special effects courtesy of Dynamation are (save for, like, two shots where the perspective is off and the First Men appear to be walking on the walls of a vertical chamber leading to the center of the Moon) nothing less than spectacular.

David P (fr) wrote: If Jaws 3D wasnt bad enough they had to try one more time and totally destroy anything redeeming the franchise may have had. The plot is ridiculous, if not stupid. Michael Caine does have a couple funny one liners, but it doesn't save this sinking ship. Especially, seeing I would rather have had Roy Schneider reprise his role, but I am glad now he chose to stay out of it.
