Leo K (es) wrote: Excellent fun in the vain of Machine Girl, Robogeisha and Vampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl, it dives straight in with amusing dialogue and action complete with occasional bizarre OTT characters and plenty of gore that'll keep fans of the above mentioned pleased. The Alien costume design is amusing and there's more than a dash of surrealist WTF humour to boot.Great fun film.

Jill R (mx) wrote: Joe dirt is a pretty mediocre comedy movie. For me personally there was some laughs but not nearly enough. Some of the jokes here in my opinion just aren't funny. This is one of Happy Madison's worst movies in my opinion. I didn't hate this film I just Walsh it was better than it was. Overall Joe dirt is a lazy comedy that just isn't funny enough to enjoy it.Grade C

Stephen Z (kr) wrote: Harrison Ford for President! Joking aside, as one of my favorite actors, it's fun to see Ford take on the role of Commander in Chief in "Air Force One". And though Ford is best known for his action movies, this is not really an action film. "Air Force One" falls somewhere between a drama and a suspense thriller. It's like "The Hunt for Red October", except in the sky.Despite not being a true action film, Harrison Ford's lead performance is exceptional, and after all these years, it's nice to see he is still kicking butt in what little action there is. Likewise, Gary Oldman brings a lot of menace to his character and makes for a great villain.Though some of the effects (especially during the aerial dogfights) are bad, "Air Force One" is an all-around good film. The ending scene is especially cool and clever. It's not a super exciting film, but great performances by Ford and Oldman make it an enjoyable one.

Ben C (au) wrote: Bronson certainly does help this film, with a reasonable performance, but the film series was getting pretty stupid when the third film came out. With lacklustre performances from the rest of the cast, a cringe-worthy plot, and surprisingly the fewest deaths in this franchise, with the first from Paul Kersey not coming in until well past the halfway mark, the fifth Death Wish should be avoided.

Chris C (ag) wrote: With enough thrills to keep you guessing, Tequila Sunrise rises above the passing level with support from solid performances by Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.

Brad G (au) wrote: Well, the real problem here is the running time. At 105 minutes the flick is at least twenty minutes too long. Lee Grant is also unappealing but thankfully, this is more Michael Ironside's movie more than anyone else. And you see Ironside in all manner of forms which is really odd. Shatner has the thankless role as Grant's producer friend, much like James Garner's character in The Fan. VF.

Dylan C (es) wrote: Released in 1980, the golden age for slasher films, Mother(TM)s Day? is your typical mad slasher chases naked women through the woods? picture. There are at least a dozen or so movies just like this one, with only slight changes made to the plot. In fact, this movie is nearly indistinguishable from summer camp slasher movies like Friday The 13th?. But beyond the lack of originality and the extreme misogyny and carnage, Mother(TM)s Day? is simply not a good slasher movie. The plot can summed up in one sentence. Three girls go camping in the woods and are hunted down by two sadistic brothers with their deranged elderly mother until the girls are forced to strike back against their attackers. That(TM)s the entire movie in one sentence. All the characters are left uncharacterized, no suspense is ever generated, no jump-out scares work, the distorted soundtrack is annoying, the directing is run-of-the-mill, the make-up effects are nothing that a slasher fan hasn(TM)t seen before and the ending is dumb and obvious. There are plenty of movies just like this one that are done just as poorly or done better in the case of Friday The 13th?. Mother(TM)s Day? will appeal to the fans of the slasher/exploitation genre but it really is badly done and unnecessary. I cannot find one single thing to recommend about Mother(TM)s Day?, my whole experience watching it is one long and depressing memory that I wish to soon forget.
