Chris F (kr) wrote: Poor pacing and thin plot. The movie seems to gloss over details and barrel through with the thinnest of plot points, like it's checking off a mandatory box so that it can get to the next point.
Nick R (gb) wrote: The cinematographer was a little ADD with the camera/lens choices. Motion sickness sets in. Coloring is not consistent. Editing gives you schizophrenia. The characters, individually, are compelling and leave you wanting to know more...but each actor seems to be focused on highlighting their own interpretation so much that rather than viewing 4 lifelong friends on a retreat you feel like it's a bunch of narcissists looking to one up the other.Good concept. Poor execution. Save yourself the two hours.

Lucas M (jp) wrote: With good actors like Baruchel and Quaid, Real Time, have an involving screenplay and a interesting direction, dispite the plot aren't original and the situation of both principal characters remind the three of The Last Detail, which Quaid act and win a Oscar nomination. Anyway, this film is entertaining, funny and moving, showing to the audience different actors of different genarations, but that have a good chemistry in the screen and surprise anyone, by the way is a original duo, that I never thing before: Baruchel and Quaid. The tension coming up to the climax and presents a unexpected end. Real Time is a good exemple of new art film that edge between comedy and drama. Fresh.

Shawn W (gb) wrote: The story of David Sloan continues and we catch up with him now in jail after being framed by non other than Tong Po, who is now the most powerful drug lord in Mexico! Still wondering how one turns himself from a champion-level kickboxer in Thailand to a powerful drug lord in Mexico on the US's most wanted list. Sloan is released from prison on the grounds he fights in Tong Po's annual tournament at his compound in Mexico after repeated failures to take him out themselves. Suspend your disbelief in the script and enjoy another decent series entry.

Ben L (kr) wrote: My synopsis of this movie would be: A dog becomes rabid after being bitten by a bat and this somehow gives him super strength, extreme levels of rage, and unprecedented determination. Seriously the ridiculousness of this dog just hanging out waiting to kill 2 people in a car is completely over-the-top for me. And although they tried really hard to add a lot of drool, snot, and blood onto the dog's body they just couldn't stop him from looking cute to me. I'm too much of a dog lover to find this movie scary, and it certainly doesn't help when they throw in scenes of an obviously stuffed dog flying at a character or some guy in a dog suit charging at the car. Then they add into this the horrible soap opera of the first half of the movie. Way to go, you did a wonderful job making me dislike the main character to the point of not really caring if she's eaten alive by Cujo. Plus they set up this whole idea of monsters in the kid's closet and that doesn't pay off at all, other than a technique for Tad to calm down when they first arrive at Cujo's house. The movie was too far-fetched and lacked any endearing characters, but at least there was a cute dog to look at through most of it.
