Then during the process he realizes that he only wants to erase the bad memories and keep the good. I loved the script. Jim Carrey was good. But Kate was amazing.

(ru) wrote: Intense and raw movie by Gus Van Sant. The story is brilliant and River Phoenix shines on it. Although all the cast gives great performances, he portrays the lonely and troubled Mike Waters with such power that he eventually becomes the biggest star on screen. Another thing that I liked is that Van Sant finishes his movie in a sad but honest way. There are few directors who have the courage to do so.
(fr) wrote: Hello My Name Is Doris is a movie about an older lady that loses her mum and goes through this older life crisis. Doris fantasies about being with a younger man kinda could be young enough to be her adult son.The movie is well made and well acted by all performers and I have to say was happily surprised. The movie is a drama but can also be classified as a comedy. The movie is light but deals with an adult subject that is dealt with humor and reality. The movie has got Sally Field and Caroline from 2 Broke Girls Beth Behrs.Sally Field has still got the acting down to a perfect art.Worth a look the movie is not too long and has a great story and shows you that you can still put yourself out there in your later years. Not suitable for the kiddies due to the subject matter.
