Theophilus K (au) wrote: It a good movie, but it like an after school special/Step It 2/ sadness of the Keanu R movie as a baseball coach/Stomp the Yard. Marques Houston is a jerk, and you get to watch him get soften by kids. The movie is more emotion based story, but it have the potiential to be al ot better if it have the budget of "You Got Served" . The dancing was cool, when they show it. It a couple step short of a baby You Got Served, Perfect for Marques Houston fans, and mushy stuff.

Mark L (ca) wrote: I thought t was pretty good. I thought the filming was well done and the characters were pretty good. I thought the stoner diatribe in the middle was annoying but overall a worthy watch.

Anna B (mx) wrote: I haven't forgiven Greenaway for the shit he pulled in The Baby of Macon but this reminded me of the possible beauty of his art, even if it is very conventional by his recent standards. The lighting is impossibly gorgeous, and the sadness it's frequently imbued with surprisingly affecting. It makes me want to re-watch all his classics on proper Blu-Ray transfers, including this one.

Paul M (it) wrote: Not for all tastes but for those who love low budget 80's exploitative horror this is a winner. Not much dialogue to quibble about and the graphic nature of some of the scenes is still impressive even with all the gore fest films out these days.

Naomi G (ca) wrote: Still sporting his pork pie hat, and cartoon character name, Mr. Hackman reemerges just in time to be released simultaneously with super-hero-cop counterpart Dirty Harry, who hasn't changed his clothes or gun for that matter, either. While Mr Eastwood's films were still struggling at the box office, awaiting a huge promotional blitz that would eventually propel Mr. Eastwood to super stardom, Mr Hackman's film gained a slightly lesser success than it's predecessor. It just shows how gullible us movie viewers can be. Even more boring and ridiculous than "The French Connection" "French Connection II" seeks to extend, like "The Godfather" more over hyped baloney with the hopes of reaping massive financial rewards. The movie seems aimed at people who go to movie theaters primarily for the cuisine, and spend most of their time waiting on line to buy popcorn: the script, everything about the movie, is that unimportant, it can be viewed from any part, and missing many parts, and still make as little sense or enjoyment as watching the whole.

Srinivas V (jp) wrote: 3 Stars for this film?I guess people prefer Bond movies when it comes to espionage. :DThis under-rated gem is based on a true story and Holden turns in a precisely nuanced performance as Erickson, a Swedish (which was neutral during the War) Oilman turned Allies Spy against the Nazis. No high octane entertainment or special effects here.Just good, old fashioned Espionage Thriller which is realistic and hard hitting. The Harry Palmer kind.
