Laurie is in the hospital recovering from her injuries from the first Halloween movie and from there the killer works his magic. The hospital itself is scary, dark, and you know something bad is going to happen in that place. Though Halloween II is not as good as the first one, it's pretty scary. I still have no clue why some critics hated this one...they're out of their minds! I rate this one 8/10 or 4/5
Bengel W (br) wrote: Script is telling a story that has depth with strong characters coming forth. Actors including the children give a strong impression of the life in Italy at the period portrayed. Photography goes from exceptional to bland mostly because the filters are not used on the cameras to bring out the cloud. This is a five hour sixteen minute movie so be prepared. Nibbles: Old fashioned English Picnic.

Jeff B (jp) wrote: Enjoyable film, but I was expecting something more from the hype this has been given. Elizabeth Taylor showed a little bit of the fire that we see from her in later roles, but a very subdued Mickey Rooney is the real highlight here--along with Donald Crisp and Anne Revere, as Velvet's parents. The storyline was not nearly as interesting (to me) as the portrayals. It seemed like a very run-of-the-mill sport storyline.
