Ollie W (au) wrote: I didn't really want to see this but I ended up having to with people I knew. I was expecting a naff, forgettable movie but was surprised by how good it actually is. It's a coming-of-age movie and... well I'm not really sure how to review it. My credits go to the things it does well in the story which I'm obviously not going to give away. So, just watch it if you're looking for a subtle movie with good messages to appreciate.

Jacob B (gb) wrote: Overstuffed with too many stories, really? I know you Americans have slightly different tastes than those bloody Brits but come on. This film is a Christmas classic which ought to please older teens and adults what with the R-rating and all. And it's all thanks to the charming cast with the Bill Nighy and Liam Neeson stories being those that truly stand out and a great mixtures of laughs and touching poignant drama.

D M (jp) wrote: A follow-up to 1963's Blood Feast. Basically the same idea, but this is the original owner's grandson. A similar story to Blood Diner and I imagine Delicatessen (have yet to see it) without the darkness of Untold Story. Some genuinely funny parts and a lot more nudity than the original. Don't expect seriousness at all, but the gore is good.

Manu G (ag) wrote: If you take the ride, you must pay the price.Good but not so great. Cadillac Records is narrated by songwriter Willie Dixon played by Cedric the Entertainer. The film needs a narrator to compensate for the lack of a strong story arc. Nonetheless, Cadillac Records is worth seeing for the music and the recreation of a bygone era. Just don't expect any drama that will knock your socks off! In this tale of sex, violence, race, and rock and roll in 1950s Chicago, "Cadillac Records" follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America's musical legends, including Muddy Waters, Leonard Chess, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf, Etta James and Chuck Berry.
