Jon K (de) wrote: Well done documentary, with many knowledgeable architects and engineers discussing the WTC events in NYC on 9/11. Implications are quite large, which often causes cognitive dissonance in viewers. Disturbing, but, if you are looking for knowledge and understanding you'd want to see this. If you prefer to keep your head in the sand and/or remain blissfully ignorant, avoid it.

Together with Gail and his friend Carlos, Doug uses his forensic skills and the techniques he's learned as a detective fiction enthusiast to unravel the mystery he encounters.MyThoughts: "The movie is a bit slow and doesn't give a lot of background on the character's, but I still found the story interesting and the character's to be likeable. The film is an independent mystery with the concept being the likes of Sherlock Holmes. It's a simple film. No blood or guts. But enjoyable none the less. I found it to be funny too. It's one of those films where you feel like you've been dropped into the middle of these peoples lives. No build up, no back story, just the here and now of what's happening. Not a bad film to watch on a long day."
Kareem s (ca) wrote: I gave it 3.5 stars not for anything more than its slow flow of events, other than that I adored the film, I really enjoyed watching those girls. Great acting, it really touched me, It gave me that patriotic boost however I ain't Iranian but I really enjoyed that feeling. Offside is simple, to the point, delicate, girlish, lovely and a really good entertaining piece of art that reflects the ridiculous restrictions facing the Iranian women.
Barney o (us) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: The characters are well realised for sure, and the animation itself is very good indeed.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: Despite all, the film actually offers very little in terms of plot, pace, excitement or interesting dialogue to keep children or adults entertained. In the end, it's dull as dishwater - Disney's flattest entry yet.VERDICT: It's commended for it's character, but what really lets it down is a lack of ingredients to make you care. Shame, Brad Bird has done much better than this.

Steve S (nl) wrote: **1/2 (out of four) The idea for this film was very groundbreaking in 1982. Too bad the result isn't nearly so bold as its setup. Kate Jackson is a woman who learns that her husband has been unfaithful to her with another man. Good performances from Jackson, Michael Ontkean, and Harry Hamblin, but they get lost. A real, though-provoking drama could have been made here, but director Arthur Hiller chickens out and delivers a whitewashed melodrama.
