Kenneth K (jp) wrote: I don't care how bad the movie is, with Scott Adkins in it, I am going to watch it because he always delivers an UNDISPUTED "let me rewind that move in slow motion" martial arts masterpiece. Even in the worst Van Damme movie, he delivered. I ended watching him more as the villain than JCVD the herO in THE SHEPARD because his stunts were extremely impressive. I can't wait for him to be taken seriously in a martial arts film. As I watch movies like SAFE HOUSE, looking at Ryan Reynolds during the fight scenes, I ask myself, "where is Scott Adkins when you REALLY need him?" No disrespect to Ryan, who is a great actor, but when it comes to physical fight scenes, he will always get my Oscar for fight choreography. Cant' wait to watch this movie late tonight on cable, since I just read the TV grid for tonight. For pure martial arts fans, (as we already know) the worst movies have great martial arts when real fighters are in them. And I know he will deliver.

You can imagine how excited I became, in all ways, when this was released theatrically. It's just as good as the stage play!

Farah R (kr) wrote: Peculiar is the proper word to describe Liev Schreiber's movie. And that's not in the slightest a negative connotation. Everything Is Illuminated is spectacularly different. The story combines drama and comedy perfectly and the cast does well in delivering both. Also, the cinematography and score have that Wes Anderson feel that turns odd into amazing.

Baurushan J (kr) wrote: This movie which I didn't know about is a sequel to the 1997 movie Kiss The Girls and both this and that are based of novels each written by James Patterson so now the sequel has arrived titled Along Came A Spider. In this movie, Morgan Freeman plays Dr.Alex Cross who teams up with a Secret Service agent named Jezzie Flannigan played by Monica Potter to find a missing student named Megan who is abducted by a psychopath named Gary played by Michael Wincott. Apparently Megan's dad Hank is related to Alex so he sent him on the case and some detective named Ollie played by Dylan Baker has strong words for Jezzie because she mistakenly let Megan slip by into the kidnapper's hands. And then Gary contacts Alex which is when Alex and Jezzie start to team up but he suspects her thinking she has something to do with this case alone and then they both realize that this is only the beginning for Gary- well who would have guessed? This movie is a complicated, creative thriller which you have to really concentrate to understand and if you miss a single bit of the movie, you'll be sorry. Along Came A Spider gets a 8.9/10.

I tried to get my teacher to agree, and I could've, after I heard that but -- oh no, I saw the picture. "I could have eaten a roll of Fujifilm and make a better movie" I thought afterwards. Illustrates everything wrong with Hollywood and Baseball in one movie. You're doing yourself a big favor if you avoid this.

Don S (fr) wrote: Creepy ass bad guy in this! Normally, I don't like out-of-sequence story telling, but it totally works in this as we see all the pieces of the puzzle put together! My only "problem" is Rex - I disliked him from the beginning, and had a very hard time feeling sympathetic to his plight. And I can't believe he got in the car with the sociopath! There are so many ways he could have gone with that decision, and he chose that one? Yeesh. But, the movie is good, it ends well (though unexpectedly for me!), and well worth watching!

Benjamin L (kr) wrote: Good fun!!!! Funny! Funny! Funny! I could believe the rating from the critics! But then again most critics hate movies like this, you know, the kind that make you laugh. It's a slapstick comedy, not a drama! For a comedy, it's a great movie! You won't be disappointed!
