Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

When a street-smart NYPD cop (Fred Ward) regains consciousness after a bizarre mugging, he has a new face and a new identity! Now he's Remo Williams, the #1 recruit of a top-secret organization, and he's toppling evil at every turn – even atop the Statue of Liberty! Trained by a quirky Korean martial arts master (Joel Grey) to dodge bullets, brave terrifying heights and thwart attackers with his bare hands, Remo becomes the ultimate criminal exterminator. But when he faces off against a corrupt millionaire and his army of henchmen, the real adventure begins!

An NYPD cop is 'killed' in an accident. The death is faked, and he is inducted into the organization CURE, dedicated to preserving the constitution by working outside of it. Remo is to become the enforcement wing (assassin) of CURE, and learns an ancient Korean martial art from Chiun, the Master of Sinanju. Based on the popular pulp series "The Destroyer," by Richard Sapir and Warren Murphy. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Carlos M (kr) wrote: It takes too long for things to start to finally happen in this dull precursor of Jurassic Park (although everything is quite predictable right from the beginning), with also a glaring problem of focus and terrible pacing and editing, but Yul Brynner looks cool as a killing robot-cowboy.

Carole W (es) wrote: Very realistic for anyone who ever lived in China. A great movie about globalization, cultural shock and challenging your self!

Hayden M (ag) wrote: A VERY VERY VERY bad movie just a bunch of bad sketches back to back and bad acting and its not funny. So do NOT! watch Movie 43. Also it has NO plot.

Hannah M (fr) wrote: stupid, not funny, not scary, not entertaining.

Kelly B (ca) wrote: granted there was gratuitous nudity ( a couple of the guys were hot) i was not too impressed with this show. don't get me wrong, i liked it but was not that crazy about it. the song beat my meat was pretty good and there were a few others...but, don't get your hopes up on this will leave you soft

Gabriel O (ag) wrote: Paranoid pop junk pseudo-culture cult film. Brilliant bullshit. Deliriously entertaining. The symbollical and subtextual aspects are forged and smart at a time arriving to a funny pulp result. To get out of your mind never felt better. Nice slasher piece of art (I mean, CRAP, lol).

Kyle C (nl) wrote: To quote a terrible actor, saying a horrible joke, from a sub-par movie, "That's a lot of fish", that being said, this is a very good bad movie, but it is also a very bad good movie. It has everything you want, cheesy acting, pointless nudity, mediocre 3-d effects, a lot of fish, and Christopher Lloyd, oh ya, and a floating penis (you gotta see it to know what I'm talking about). A group of strangers must band together to avoid getting attacked by, a lot of fish. The fish themselves are kinda creepy and if you can believe it, i think there may actually be a sequel coming. It's worth a watch if you want campy horror but don't expect any Oscars coming out of this. Well that's my two cents worth and I don't know if I've mentioned this or not but, that was indeed, a lot of fish.
