(de) wrote: "Border Run" has a rambling and hairbrained plotline punctuated with frequent violence and maudlin sentimentality, capped off with bad dialogues and sad images of the fading glory of Sharon Stone in her 50s, trying to appear much younger and much more seductive. The whole thing has "disaster" written all over it from the very beginning. This is undoubtedly the WORST movie I have seen in years. In my mind, I kept saying to Ms. Stone, "Please retire from acting and let us all enjoy our memories of your earlier fine performances in high budget films."

The acting is terrible and the writing is crap, but that's fine, because one shouldn't expect more from a movie called "Spring Break Shark Attack."

(jp) wrote: It's a cool Fulci Spaghetti Western, but not quite as cool as it should've been given the characters and plot. I don't know why Fulci devoted a half hour of it to random townspeople and Bunny's baby, but he did, and it's stupid and boring. Other than that, and the godawful soundtrack, this film is great. It just needed a bit more Chaco.
