Zachary M (kr) wrote: The precursor to Jurassic Park in more than one way. Not only is a movie about a futuristic theme park where shit f=goes wrong, but it was written by the same writer as Jurassic Park, which makes me really think Michael Crichton must have had a really bad experience at a theme park when he was little. The movie does have a lot of fun with some of the ideas, I truly believe if sex was an option with a life like blonde robot, men from all over who come there would definitely partake in it. And slaying a cowboy in a gun fight are all fun ideas I'm sure lots of people would do on their trip, myself included. However, the pacing does drag in a lot of spaces. There is some good tension, but the plot of the robot revolt just seems to come out of nowhere. It is still forth a watch for fans of the 70's scifi genre, but it hasn't aged the best.

Robert M (jp) wrote: Love anime? Love action? Then this is for you. If Michael Bay did an anime movie it would end up something like this. It's a combo of Metal Gear Solid type and James Bond type of characters in a much more bizarre situation. Only the main villain is a bit underwhelming.

Jose M (ca) wrote: The Prophecy II is like watching the film the Terminator with an angelic twist to it. The film stars Christopher Walken as a cooky renegade angel Gabriel. He's the terminator in the film with personality of a goofy mob boss along with him is Brittany Murphy as one of Gabriel's slaves. Jennifer Beals is the Sarah Connor of the film with very little energy as well as Russell Wong taking on Michael Biehn's role as the protector. Hey why not throw Glenn Danzig as Samayel in the mix? Much of the plot is Gabriel (Walken) hunting down Valerie (Beals) to end a long and bloody war going on in heaven among the angels. Gabriel may have the power to silence people, but is pretty much clueless throughout the entire, but always entertaining. Walken, who's really great in here, is pretty much the only reason to watch this lackluster sequel with an even boring finale that left out Viggo Mortensen.

James H (es) wrote: A cool and fun film. If you see it on TV it's worth watching. Roger Moore's German accent goes from non-existent to miles over the top as do the other German accents and you can tell its low budget at times but there are some very tense scenes where the director uses no music, it works perfectly. Every scene with Elliot Gould is great and Claudia Cardinale is fantastic and beautiful as well.
