Return to Sleepaway Camp

It's summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provides as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank and junior partner Ronnie do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can't shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak. Heather M (gb) wrote: No bloody way am I ever watching this one! When did Disney decide to give up making quality family movies and just start making nonsense with the latest "it" kids?

James P (jp) wrote: Much better than I thought it would be. Good life story.

Mike B (kr) wrote: Really bad. Banks tries hard despite the inherent crappiness of the script. A lot of opportunity wasted, and this is just one domino in the line of Eddie Murphy flops to come.

Corey S (mx) wrote: This movie is awesome great story funny characters and best of all great acting all around. Seriously it's a really fun film and will Ferrell absolutely kills it. Definitely check it out if you like will or just overall happy comedies

Brandon W (de) wrote: I watched it in school which at first, I surprisingly never heard of this film despite the fact that it has Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, and it has Ron Howard as the director. When I saw it, I figured out why, it's a forgettable mess of a film. The two main problems, are the main actors, and the plot. I'm sure Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman are trying to act, but their accent is not authentic, it's like their accent is the same way that Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins is with his accent. Their chemistry could've been better though, and it felt like it was more arguments than just conversations. The plot, there's way too much of it, and it doesn't know what it's trying to focus on. There is another problem which is the comedy, but it's minor because there are some funny moments, but there was some other parts that was just awkward. Despite those flaws, it didn't make me mad because there are some good scenes in it, but it's just a bit dull and disappointing that I'm probably going to forget it in a few days.

Jordan T (mx) wrote: Touching portrait of one soldier's journey back home to see his mother, if only for a few minutes, and all the people he meets along the way. I'm not or have I ever been a soldier, but the hero's journey resonated with me as he encounters people and stumbles across love and loses it before he realizes he had it. Fantastic Russian film that breaks from the usual propaganda the USSR has spurting out at this time.

Gabriel W (ag) wrote: I thought the movie was okay. The acting was pretty good, the filming was good, but the werewolf was the only cheesy thing about the movie. The story, though, was just plain entertaining. I had so much fun watching this movie. I would recommend this movie.
