Dennis M (au) wrote: From Nottingham to Australia and back. Gripping (and true) story of how thousands of children were sent to Australia in the 50's.

AnnaMarie B (jp) wrote: Interesting movie. Really amazing how those guys just couldn't seem to understand what they did wrong. But didn't like the ending. I wanted to know more about the killer!

Omar (gb) wrote: I usually can not handle long movies, but i wish this went on for another 3 hours. Brilliant.

Johnny B (ca) wrote: This was pretty badass. But more of a comedy than an action.

Kyle B (nl) wrote: It's a slog of a movie to get through but the performances are fine enough to make it watchable. Just really boring

Leanne C (de) wrote: the film opens with a direct juxaposition of the subsequently varying threads of human sexual pleasure and 1970s politics in yugoslavia. there's some great subtle, tongue-in-cheek (and elsewhere) humour interspersed with documentation of the ex-communist new age orgasm doctor in america and the satire-theatre play of young, sexy, party-approved comrades in communist yugoslavia. the part i found weaker than the rest of the film was the wacky american hippie war protestor running around with his gun. at least he strokes it to a crazed, semi-violent militaristic salute-orgasm at the end of his scenes. added bonus: a penis plaster casting a la cynthia albritton. ever wonder about the diy logistics of plaster and pubic hair? shower curtains! delightful quotes: "To die for love is dishonest, selfish, bourgeois. It's brutishly zoological." "Saliva is good." "Cancer and fascism are closely related." "In our sick society everyone is sick."

Greg W (ru) wrote: While not a classic by any stretch of the imagination, Trog is still a damned fine little monster movie and stands proudly as one of the best bad flicks you will ever see!

Rick Q (gb) wrote: "good neighbor sam" could have been a lot more fun if it wasn't so long. the film is essentially a one joke pony, so to drag it on for 2.1 hours is quite unnecessary.

Bryan K (ag) wrote: Not bad, but ultimately forgettable.

Les E (us) wrote: Good story of a struggling London town. Both Grant and his character are fantastic.

Colin M (jp) wrote: slow start, but stay with it.......unique plot, sylish & plenty of twists & turns along the way.

Luc L (de) wrote: A very good western and performance by Paul Newman.

Ryan L (mx) wrote: Paul Thomas Anderson considers this movie his masterpiece. and it's a perfect film. it follows several stories of several characters throughout one day and the various ways that characters interact and collide. the acting, directing, writing, cinematography, score, and soundtrack are all brilliant. it gets called overlong, but that's a stupid statement. it never drags and is never boring. perfect pacing for a movie over three hours long. emotions run high in this one and it had me tearing up. great film in every way!10/10

Clarissa C (fr) wrote: it has the correct mixture of comedy and dark humour.

Aj M (ru) wrote: a great return from Eddie Murphy. Absolutely hysterical

Dan M (jp) wrote: This movie isn't as smart as it thinks it is. It attempts to intertwine a love story and Dead Poet's Society. It falls short on both as neither of the main characters are that interesting.
