This consists of four short films by different directors. Rosselini's 'Chastity' ('Illibatezza') deals with an attractive air hostess who receives the unwelcome attentions of a middle aged American. Godard's 'New World' ('Il Nuovo Mondo') illustrates a post-apocalypse world the same as the pre-apocalyptic one but for an enigmatic change in attitude in most people, including the central character's girlfriend. In Pasolini's 'Curd Cheese' ('La Ricotta'), a lavish film about the life of Jesus Christ is being made in a poor area. The impoverished people subject themselves to various indignities in the name of moviemaking in order to win a little food. The central character is hoisted up on a cross for filming, and dies there. Finally comes Gregoretti's 'Free Range Chicken' ('Il Pollo Ruspante') in which a family of the materialist culture inadvertantly illustrate the cynical, metallic voiced doctrine of a top sales theorist.

Took me forever to get around to seeing it. I loved it. Totally catered to men. Lots of random people in it. It's plot is horrendous, especially since the beginning of the film comes to a random nosedive and turns into stripping and stripping zombies and stripping zombies competing against each other. What makes no sense and what will never be explained are that the infected strippers can speak and function normally. Now, that's not saying much. But they are like a more intelligent version of the special infected from the Left for Dead series. The movie is just a lot of fun to watch and everyone should see it. Extremely graphic, I saw it fully uncensored on IFC. But I can't recommend this film enough.

Matthew L (us) wrote: The film benefits massively from removing Harry from San Francisco to a small costal town, with Eastwood as solid in the role as ever. Personally some of his direction lets him down as does the editing at times. But with a strong nod to Christies 'Murder On The Orient Express' this also makes Harry more human than previous entries in the series and this should have been the last as well.
