Dann M (jp) wrote: La La Land is a charming musical that about the magic of LA and chasing dreams. The story follows an aspiring actress and a struggling jazz musician who fall in love. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling both give extraordinary performance and have great chemistry together. And the comedy is really well-done, and has a subtle and clever humor to it. Also, the musical numbers are quite good and are integrated in a very natural way; particularly the choreography, which is incredibly creative. However, the film kind of gets tripped up on the ending, and whether one should sacrifice love for dreams. It's not without some flaws, but overall La La Land is touching and beautiful film.

Raymond B (nl) wrote: A star studded cast some just playing minor roles. Parts of it reminded me of Unforgiven with the starkness of survival in the early days of the US Territories.

Adam R (it) wrote: What starts out as an interesting setup for a sequel, taking somewhat of a "Blair Witch 2" approach to the material, Grave Encounters 2 unfortunately falls completely flat by going off the rails with a frustrating and nonsensical plot and essentially a "rinse and repeat" of the first one's story. There are a few good scares here and there and even some decent acting along the way but it's not enough to save this mess.

Antti Q (mx) wrote: A story of revenge and honor of a poor samurai family. This time a slow paced drama from Miike, no splashing with gore as one might expect from him.

Joe M (jp) wrote: Worse than a cheesy B movie. More of a joke than a scary movie. Bad acting included.

Ralph R (nl) wrote: Obama, McCain, or Clinton are likely to be terrible presidents just like this film is probably going to be a piece of crap as well.

Ashok B (de) wrote: A film that grew on me the more I watched it. The lack of story and depth in the characters does leave the story lacking. Action is good enough to watch and Danny John-Jules will always be a legend.
