Amanda C (gb) wrote: It had some funny moments...this movie is funny if you enjoy hearing elementary schoolers curse and talk like adults, teachers smoking, drinking and cursing in front of the children etc.
Conner T (jp) wrote: I really like Soderbergh's films, that is why I got so upset with how pretensions this film is. The entire primes of the film is based on a world that only a handful of people would truly appreciate. Just plain inaccessible.

Brian C (de) wrote: Trick or Treat is so awesome. It has it all. Wicked soundtrack, a balding Gene Simmons as a DJ, Ozzy as a priest against rock and roll (and rock pornography), AND Skippy from Family Ties as a headbanger. So immensely entertaining; a bullied Skippy plays a record backwards unleashing a heavy metal Sammi Curr back to life (of course it was played backwards), and hilarity ensues.Charming throughout and great fun.
Jonny B (nl) wrote: 'What Have You Done to Solange?' is an intriguing giallo with unexpected twists and an ending that comes from nowhere yet works better than any nicely wrapped up ending I've seen in many a giallo. The movie has a few pacing problems, a couple odd performances, unintentionally funny dialogue, and for gore-hounds looking for a taste of blood they will be disappointed. Take the time out to enjoy a top-notch giallo and find out what did happen to Solange.
Willie J (kr) wrote: They movie strays from its core too long. Whilst Bing Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald may carry the movie, there is some poor direction from McCarey. The pacing is a flaw as well as the editing, the movie runs itself too long. Despite all of that, the movie has enough funny, sweet moments to keep it a good movie. The ending though, is enough to cement its place a wonderful piece of sentiment.

Tim M (de) wrote: Beasts of No Nation chronicles the perils of a fictional war and what can become of the innocent during the conflict. Idris Elba leads a cast of actors, but the star is young Abraham Attah as a child who goes from living a fairly normal life to becoming a soldier. His transformation is sudden, as is the movie. How Alba didn't get nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar is shame. This is not for the faint of heart.
