Trent G (us) wrote: While suspenseful, it offered no real resolution and made little to no sense. There were so many plot holes and bad decisions by the main characters, I wondered if the screen writers took the time to add ANY logic to this movie.

Joel A (mx) wrote: An average documentary on an extraordinary figure in literary history who basically wrote only one phenomenal Best Seller & chose never to write again.JD Salinger undoubtedly a creative genius was the mind behind the book Catcher in the Rye which became a global phenomenon & due to a negative past experience with Hollywood he refused to let it be filmed. The Documentary is not the best in layout & format but this man was so fascinating (especially his 299 days in battle during WWII) it's covers all the holes. If you literature this is a must see & Catcher in the Rye is a must read.

Disney film based on a Farley Mowat book. Supposedly the true story of Mowat but did he really track the wolves naked? National Geograhic types will love the impressive scenery. Garners a very impressive imdb score but, unfortunately, film does not really come together until the end when you find pilot Dennehy ready to exploit Japanese tourists at a planned hot spring resort and the Inuit man who sells wolf skins for dentures.

Rodney E (ru) wrote: This was one that I have seen bits of pieces of over the years but still wanted to see it in it's unedited glory. I finally watched it and it is one of Ron Howard's better efforts. Sometimes it feels like a TV sitcom, which isn't too bad considering Winkler is a TV icon. I like Henry Winkler and think he did a pretty decent job here but it is Michael Keaton who steals the show as the energetic schemer working with Winkler at the morgue. This reeks of the early 80's and that can be a mixed bag as it comes off as cheese but is still a pretty good product of the time.
