Danielle U (ru) wrote: It was ok. Hoped it would be better, especially since I like Justin Long and Emmanuelle Chiriqui so much. But, the story was a bit slow in places and then ended without tying everything up.

(es) wrote: At some point the result is not that matter, It's about whether you take the chance and try your best to earn it.

Michael K (br) wrote: An interesting film. A film where there was more rehearsing than usual so says Salm Hayek. Her character in the book is less that in the script. So she said she would only read the book after the film was made. Colin read the book many times. With all the rehearsing, they did this film well. They are so creative that the result was quiet and interesting film, a moving film, an emotional one, set in America in the 1930s when times were tough with a recession.

Corey B (mx) wrote: Canada's best actors all in one film set in the islands (probably Nova Scotia or PEI) since they dont have the accent of a newfie.

Nia A (kr) wrote: I Like Songs of This Film

Scott W (gb) wrote: I remember watching this one in school. Definitely goes for the emotions and it actually is quite funny at times. Doesn't work completely but all in all not a bad little film.

Linda I (de) wrote: good film but made steven seagal look like a prick

Paul O (jp) wrote: It's good to see that Wittgenstein was almost as confused by his philosophies as I am. I thought watching this might help me in my Philosophy of Law class, but presenting the great man's work must clearly not have been the intention of the film makers. Instead what we have here is an interesting look at key points in Wittgenstein's life, which fails, however, to account for why they are so important. My first foray into this 'modern theatrical' style of film (think bold colours on a totally black background), I can see how the technique can be used to emphasise the dialogue used, crucial in a biopic about a man who devoted his life to understanding language. This fine stroll through the life of the Austrian genius may entertain those with a knowledge of his work, but an introduction to Wittgenstein it is not. Still I learnt that he shared a history teacher with Adolf Hitler. At one point when he was asked how he would continue his life he remarked: "I shall start by committing suicide."

Arnaud L (kr) wrote: A very average comedy about con artists and credit card. Not really funny but at least the casting is pleasant.

Jonathan M (ru) wrote: I saw it as satirizing the nadir of WWII era fantasy movies that New German Cinema reacted against. There seemed to be the clear influence of 'Sunset Boulevard,' in a plot that didn't seem to fully deal with the issues it raised.

Wes S (kr) wrote: Kind of like Spaceballs, with many movie parody scenes and some decent humor, but the story goes no where and a lot of it felt too sudden, but the characters are interesting and there are many fun parts.

Tim G (us) wrote: Fascinating and ridiculous at various turns, more of the former surprisingly.

Carol L (us) wrote: Not a very exciting movie. The story is OK.

Alex P (mx) wrote: Interesting, then cliche in every aspect.
