(nl) wrote: The sound is the first thing that you will notice is bad about this movie in that it?s tinny. Then the lighting is bland not allowing for any shade and thus making it photographically plain. The dialogue is as shallow as the actors playing the shallow parts. Gay, straight not sure, you will be after watching this and I am inclined to say, straight will be your preference. Nibbles: Quiche.

I fell in love, and I can't see how one cannot fall in love with this beautiful movie. I know I'm in the minority, but I am proud to say that I support John Rolfe over John Smith any day.
(mx) wrote: "Jean-Claude Van Damme" honestly was a horrible decision to have him portray the movie's protagonist "Walker". Set in the year 2004 the plot to "Timecop" is time-travel has just been invented and many people have realized how easily it is to cause the end of the world. Knowing this a company was created for "Law Enforcement" to stop time travelers from causing the end of the world. The movie opens with "Melissa" portrayed by "Mia Sara" awaiting her husband in a shopping mall. The scene isn't the best opening to an Action/Sci-Fi. Throughout the movie the audience gets to experience the antagonist "McComb" portrayed by "Ron Silver" who wants to become president so he time travels to 1994 to tell his younger self how to do this. "Ron Silver" as the antagonist, he gives the audience quite a superb performance as "McComb". The film's climax is entertaining to watch but fails to feel realistic to the audience. As satated previously there could not have possibly been a worse choice than "Jean-Claude Van Damme" to play "Walker". "Mark Isham", "Timecop's" film score composer created thrilling and entertaining music for the scenes that it's in. Another issue with the film is its script; its full of bad dialogue and plot holes. Although the movie does have its moments that at times are humorous. Director of cinematography "Peter Hyams" does a good job filming, but occasionally using close-ups. If you are a person who enjoys 1990's Sci-Fi/Action movies then I recommend you watch "Timecop" as it is filmed well, has a great antagonist and has a splendid film score. Although the movie is not perfect, it has some issues these being bad scrip full of plot holes, unrealistic scenes and a horrible choice for a main character. I give 1994's "Timecop" a 6/10.
(us) wrote: It's painfully predictable, boring and the romance doesn't work. When you know from the beginning what the surprise ending is you can't call a film a thriller. Never the less the actors are all brilliant and the film looks really good.

(ru) wrote: Male Ego...the film is all about that. A man if successful is always supported by his wife but if a woman is successful it becomes very difficult for the man to take it. Its so natural and so well made. with excellent performances and great music.
(ru) wrote: This is a superbly subtle and effective thriller. Two young girls biking through pastoral France on holiday. When her friend goes missing, the remaining girl (Franklin) begins an investigation around her strange and hostile environment. It features a lean cast of only seven characters. Slow pacing that is now to be cherished, excellent performances, realistic scenarios. The dizzying sun-drenched French countryside only contributes to the atmosphere of alienation.
(fr) wrote: In 1956 the greatest comedy duo of all-time team up in a great comedy full of goofy humour and classic songs, the film is called Pardners. The film is about the sons of two famous ranch partners a.k.a "Pardners" called Wade Kingsley who is played by the comedy legend (Jerry Lewis) and Slim Mosely also played by comedy legend (Dean Martin. Slim's ranch has been taken over from a greedy gang, so than Slim decides to go to his family in the rich suburbs to get some money and some help to get these greedy gang members off his land. This is when Slim and Wade meet for the first time and this is when all the chaos and laughter begins. Wade has always wanted to leave his rich life behind and go experience life at a ranch and be a real cowboy, so after alot of arguing and alot of hilirious conversations Slim finally gives in to Wade and lets him travel back to his ranch so they can both try and fight these greedy gangsters. This is actually the first film that I have seen with the two comedic duo and all I can say is that I can see why these guys are known as the all time greatest. You have Dean Martin that pritty much is the guy that looks out for Jerry lewis when he does his stupid things, but than you have Lewis watching out for Martin at some points and that just adds more humour to the film. This movie has a very similar story to the new cartoon called "Rango", I wont go into any details but this just remined Me alot of Rango's humour. There is also alot of singing in this movie, and it all is funny to listen to and you also have alot of goofy humour when Wade (Lewis) does stupid things and says stupid things but I think that is what is so funny about it. So come on guys instead of watching these predictable so, so comedys these days how about you hire this film out, it should make you laugh unless you find these two guys to be extremely annoying.
